Sango Sushi Pitt Meadows — Restaurant in Pitt Meadows

My husband and I have been coming here for years and can't say enough good things about it. We have lived all over the lower mainland and will make the trek back to Pitt Meadows just to eat here because it's that good (we currently reside in Surrey.) The atmosphere is lovely and they always add extra decor for the major holidays which is so nice to be surrounded by when you're enjoying a yummy meal. The service is always top notch to the point that kitchen staff who recognize my hubby and I will come out of the kitchen just to come say hi! The food is always exceptional quality and always fresh. They have revamped the menu a few times over the last couple of years and every time they do the new additions are just wonderful. There has been times we are even given chef specialties on the house and they are always unbelievable. We highly recommend ordering the Negitoro Oshi and adding Unagi sauce and the Pumpkin Korokke (it's the Chef's personal family recipe) - you'll love it! We had a wonderful dining experience at Sango Sushi! Here’s what made it great:

Food:** We ordered the Salmon Sashimi, Yakisoba Dinner, Crazy Boy Roll, and Salmon Oshi. Every dish was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Expectations Exceeded:** Initially, we thought it would be a typical sushi restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the food and the overall experience. Service:** The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even gave us a complementary dish, which was such a thoughtful gesture! Family-Friendly:** We appreciated that high chairs and booster seats were available for our kids, making it a great spot for a family dinner. Good sushi, servers are pretty rude in my opinion. They like to stare alot for some reason, I noticed this on multiple visits. I once had a women server spill a whole cup of miso soup on my new shirt which was disappointing. Not happy about the prices going up and portion sizes going down. It was already expensive enough at $10 for a hotnight roll which now is $12, Lovers saki yaki from $9 to $10? As well as other rolls like the spicy roll which is now $5! And it's more like mashed up roe eggs than tuna. Owner is a good guy though, same with the chefs.
