This was a TERRIBLE Tim Hortons!! I was ABSOLUTELY floored with the LACK of training, lack of work ethic, lack of professionalism, so with that said, Im quite confident in saying that all this is due to lack of, and extremely poor management skills. This location is directly across the parking lot from a busy Movie Theater, so on top of it's regular customers, it is known to get quite BUSY before & after Movies. this particular day the line up was backed up out the entrance doors and onto the sidewalk. There was a new hire/trainee working, all though she was flustered as all heck, and not as fast as SOME of the Senior staff members as they have had more experience, this young girl was doing her very best to keep a smile on her face, and her chin up and she continued to fill each order with the little training, product and machine knowledge that she had. Her ambition, her dedication & drive to want to make sure each and every customer was served and pleased was so wonderfully obvious & so gratefully appreciated! What had myself, and some others in the lineup absolutely aghast was the two SENIOR staff members who were sitting up front, in a booth, dippin' donuts in their coffee's as they exchanged GOSSIP so completely LOUD ENOUGH for all who were within 10ft to clearly hear that they were gossiping about other staff members! They watched this new hire struggle, (⭐BUT SHE IS A PRO NOW⭐) they sat there gossiping so obnoxiously, showed ZERO know how of how to behave in a place of employment, and for what it is to be and or act professional. It got to the point where I finally walked up to the booth and said, "Do neither of you see the line up out the door? Do neither of you notice the customers who have turned around and left this losing your BOSS BUSINESS? and why haven't either one of you gotten up to help out your fellow NEWLY HIRED EMPLOYEE instead of just sitting gossipping about other employees so loudly that most of us customers could repeat exactly what you said verbatim back to you?" I literally think everyone heard my jaw hit the floor when the two employees answered me....⚠️"We are on our break"⚠️ was their response. I was horrified... WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO TEAM WORK? WORK ETHIC? HELPING ONE ANOTHER? I have never been back to this Tim Hortons since...

It's unfortunate that I work in the mall complex that Tim Hortons is situated in. This place is so poorly mismanaged. Drive-through customers get first priority and walk-in customers are forgotten about. Walked to this location from my shop to grab a coffee. I had one person in front of me and 3 people behind me. I made a mental note of the time when I walked inside. It took 10 full minutes to help the customer in front of me and for them to prepare my coffee. Every customer in the lineup was very vocal and talked out loud about how there was nobody serving them. There were no less than 5 people working in the drive-through and 1 person helping in-store customers. I asked to speak to the manager and I was talked down to by a lady who just made excuse after excuse about staffing. I watched no less than 17 cars get served before I got my coffee. It pains me but I drive my truck through the drive-through now instead of taking the 2-minute walk. Better yet I'm just going to Waves Coffee on the other side of the lot, at least they care.
Edit:
Went through the drive-through at 5:10 a.m. and got my coffee and breakfast wrap. I could see and hear the manager making my wrap when I pulled up to the window. She asked her employee why isn't the grill on, to which he mumbled something. He then proceeded to come to the window and tell me the grill was not working. I asked him, Is it not working or did you not turn it on? he just smiled and said it would be 10 minutes for it to heat up. Frustrated I just grabbed my now cold wrap and left....
Apparently, I give too many chances to local businesses. Ordered a large turkey, bacon club. this was the lettuce they put on my sandwich. It is very evident this location has ZERO care in the world. I will...
Read moreAnother terrible experience at this Tim Hortons! Ordered soup and wedges...get to the window and the girl hands me the wedges in a open container!? I ask her for a covered box...how I always get my wedges (simple request?) apparently not! She proceeds to arque with me at the window ( pouring rain,I'm getting soaked) to tell me that they don't come in there unless I order the works! 8 months I have been going to this Tims! On average I get wedges 2 times per week! ( except yesterday when at 1:30pm the had NONE) this store is always out of something I then ask her to give me fresh hot wedges in a box and she basically refuses! Still telling me how they should be served and that these are fresh ( except that they have been out in the open cold air with her spitting on the while she argues with me) Did up the window and ignored her! When she opened the window again I asked her if it is a big deal for her to give me a box if I want one!? "No" she says! I explain that for 8 months I have gotten them that way! "Who gave them to you that way?" She asks me! Really? How would I know? I also asked her why she was arguing with me!? Just give me the wedges and let me go? WORST customer service person ever!!! Unreal! So frustrating... just wanted to get lunch! I am so done with this store... never again! To boot this was a manager! Her employees were watching this! Good example to them what good...
