A&W Canada — Restaurant in Pointe-Claire

The only thing I saw bad was that one employee had the masked below the chin. That is a big mistake. I may not go there for a while after seeing that incident.

The food was okay. Of course the burgers and the chickens strips were hot so that's a good sign. Taste good as well. They need better training and proper training with preparation.

Service is pretty slow and need to fix that A.S.A.P. Also the management and supervisors. The management here is not the best and the employees feel that they do not want to talk with you when they take your order. They are cheapskates.

Sometimes their machines for payments don't work so they need tp update that as well.

December, 2021. I came here today and the clerk just wanted to rush. It is disappointing that the owner operates this A&W Pointe-Claire in the Mall. The food was hot which was a good sign but I felt like he did not want to be there.

It took 15 minutes (not counting the line wait) to place an order for a chubby combo with Kids Pack with Nuggets. The staff had a lot of difficulty understanding. Dining in. They didn't understand that I was dining in when I commented that they gave me a to go cup instead of a mug. It took them 30 minutes to inform me that they didn't sell apple slices for the Kids Pack, claiming the picture with the apple slices are just a picture and are not part of the order. They sold me the 6pack of Nuggets and itemized individually rather then combo items. The online menu is very clear that it is included. I'm so frustrated with the situation that even an hour later, I can't eat my chubby sandwich. Manager was not in. Would only come in the next day. Nothing was offered for the trouble.

One of the best A&W franchises out there! No matter what day or time of day it is, their burgers are always tasty and juicy. Consistency and timely must be their motto.

I am truly curious as to what it is that they are doing that locations like one ones at Snowden metro or Côte Vertu metro aren't.

I have stopped eating at those two metro locations. Burgers tend to be dried out, missing condiments, coffee is occasionally burnt, slow service, locked washrooms.

But none of those issues at the site in Fairview mall.

If there is such a thing as quality control within the A&W francise, they need to figure out what stores like the Fairview one or the one on Sherbrooke street in Westmount near the Vendôme metro are...
