Boustan in Fairview is not bad. It is like a typical boustan you can find in the city Customer service is good as well and employers listen and take your order with communication.
Their poutine is not bad their potatoes are what made it good. I wanted a little hot but it was not that hot. It was just sitting there for a while. The price was questionable for $5.99 since it was small. It may prevent me from trying it again. Also a little bit salty as well.
I recently tried their chicken shawarma with potatoes and orange juice. The Drinks outside their cash is not cold. They should remove that A.S.A.P. but it did not bother me that much. The person forgot to give me my potato wedges. So you need to ask him. One of the employees had her mask down and you can see her nose but she was nice.
Their shawarma was grilled so that was a bonus because in crescent street they do not grill it. They put in the microwave.
Their potatoes are a Montreal institution and it is good just like any other Boustan.
Only prices were an issue for me but other than that is a good decent Boustan
I hope to try their plates, Sharma and other specialties in the near future again and see if its good.
Their restaurant was supposed to open in September 2021. It was about time they opened in the mall. The restaurant is a...
Read moreI work in the mall and usually get a falafel sandwich from Boustan, I never had a problem before, but the last time I went I was served by the elrderly Egyptian man who works there, HE DID NOT WEAR GLOVES ! He made my whole entire sandwich with his bare hands ! he could of just come out of the bathroom, who knows ! after I watched him in disgust picking up the falafel's and putting them in the sandwich I simply said no thanks and walked away, today as I walked in the food court I went and spoke to one of the employees at Boustan and told them about my experience from last time and they told me that alot of people do the same as I did and just walk alway, I told him that he should be told that its not right, he said, that employee has been told by management many times about needing to wear gloves and he still does not wear gloves! I am so disapointed and disgusted ! how could Boustan keep an employee like that ? Is it so hard to slip of on some gloves ??? Never going back there again, props to the younger guys that work there and follow the rules and...
Read moreI've never had a problem ordering at Boustan before coming to this one. I ordered a standardized shawarma bowl. Usually it's one scoop of garlic sauce and one scoop of hummus. However, I do not like hummus. So I've always ordered two scoops of garlic sauce and it has NEVER been an issue of an extra/additional cost. Yet today, the male employee gave me a harsh look and a harsh tone that I needed to pay extra money for this other scoop of garlic sauce. How does this make sense that I cannot have two scoops of garlic sauce without it costing extra, yet I can have a scoop of hummus and scoop of garlic sauce and it's not problem? It's the same thing... they're both sauces. Fix your management style. I won't be coming back here again as I've seen that the people who run this place ARE CHEAP. I noticed that the cashier who also handled my cash money never bothered to change her gloves and played with other people's foods. The pita bread was also...
