after many times ordering from here, decided to drop by for a review.
food taste good and a healthier choice as opposed to most on the food court area.
first time ordering experience, not the easiest to get how it works. but the more you come and eat here the process gets more familiar. but staff needs to explain more about the sauces as they never not a single time they mention about the other kinds of sauces available (dijon miel, lime, balsamic, etc.). they always ask if you want spicy mayo.
good place to eat overall, but why the 3 stars you might ask?
well, here’s why!
1- twice this happened…i came to try and order here around 10:30 around that time, then one of the staff on the grill tells me that they open at 11 o’clock. ok so i left. i came back at around 10:57 and ask if it’s okay to order and the staff still insist that they open at 11. i get it, but they lack flexibility and consideration. service is poor EXCEPT for the owner as i went back yesterday and he was professional and seems to care for a good service.
2- staff again lacks understanding that they are working with food. every time most of them see someone they know they do a bounce (or something similar in front of the open food) and just let them cut to the line no respect whatsoever. just unbelievable
3- minor issue, the cut of chicken are smaller compared to other poulet rouge locations. not a deal breaker, i can still live with it.
i could easily give 4 stars if service...
Read morePoulet Rouge is one of the best restaurants in the Fairview mall. Richard the manager/owner and his staff are super kind and friendly. They are working extremely hard and doing the best they can. I've been there a couple of times and had no serious issues or problems with the food. Maybe the meat should be cooked a little longer since some of their meats are not charred enough to be cooked fully.
Their bowls are delicious especially the two flavour red bowls wrap as well were tasty and delicious. One thing I did not like was they added a lot of spicy mayo. Spicy Mayo is okay is just that it was a little much for my liking. I think it is second nature to add that much if you say yes. But you can always get another dressing or refuse the spicy mayo.
Another thing was that they are always busy especially with Uber Eats, Skip and Doordash so I can see where they are a little bit overwhelmed.
Other than in Fairview, this restaurant is popular in Montreal and you can find it within the city. Especially if you love chicken with rice, quinoa, fries, or Salad. This is the only one in the W.I. so I do pass by from time to time.

Read moreSo I decided to eat here just because they kept having so many customers so I assumed it must be pretty good. I was only 3rd in line, and the line up behind me was really long! We did wait quite awhile that I almost gave up and left but, I’m from out of town so I decided to stay and try it before I regret it. The employees were hustling HARD! And I noticed that the reason why it was taking SO long to get my food was because there were a LOT of UberEats waiting to pick up their customers food. I ordered the BBQ chicken and it was absolutely delicious. It was really tasty and good on its own! I think I messed up my order because I added way too many sauces which didn’t balance out really well. I had soya sesame sauce, guacamole and even tzaziki sauce. Next time I’m going to tone it down on the sauces. It was super filling too and I definitely want to try the other flavours next time! But I’ll definitely go when there is less of a line...
