Oh man. Sorry but this place is always a disaster when we go in person. Drive thru and dine in is slow, incorrect orders and hard to communicate. Delivery orders are usually accurate and quick
We went to the drive thru recently and ordered 1 cheeseburger, 1 nuggets meal and a Sundae. We wanted to use our points.for the free cheeseburger. It took 5 minutes to order while the lady was yelling at someone else over the microphone. We finally drove to the window where she tried to charge us for 3 cheeseburgers, junior chicken, 10 pc nugget meal with a coke, and 2 Sundae. We spent another 5 minutes trying tl fix the order while she continued to loudly take orders over the drive thru. We asked her to please stop for a moment and she would put her finger up to us to be quiet. Then, she would respond to us saying things like "yes THREE cheeseburgers" (when we would say "free") and then put her finger back up when we tried.to respond.
Eventually we thought it was sorted and tried to pay. She handed us the debit machine and despite us saying we wanted to pay cash, continued to ignore us as she took more orders. We then handed her the cash and she told us it wasnt enough and argued about the price...much of the same scenario played out- she would.tell us we were wrong and instead of checking she would keep taking orders and put her finger up for us to wait. She finally checked and realized she was wrong and said "oh". And then handed us our change
We get to the next window and told there is a wait for the food. So of course they hand us the fries and ice cream and drinks. We asked if we could have it all together and they said it would be right away so no need..we pulled up to park and waited over 15 minutes, finally going in to inquire. Once we went in, we waited back outside another few minutes and got our food. However, no sauce, no napkins, no receipt and no sauce. And we have extra food we paid for.
At that point I was just going to keep the food as I was frustrated and not wanting a refund but had to go in for the sauce and receipt. Another 5 minutes waiting in line and then waiting while they checked the order to check the sauces? Not sure why they had to check this. Anyways got the sauce and receipt and got halfway home with our melted ice, melted ice cream, cold extra paid for food, and realized they gave us the wrong drink. UGH. Lol. Honestly it was like a comedy of errors...I won't return to...
Read moreI attempted to go to the drive-thru today. When I got to the cashier window I tapped my card on the machine to pay only to be told by the cashier immediately after that she had made a mistake and charged me for a different order for another car in the lineup. She said she would let the pickup window know what happened so that they could sort it out and give me my order. Instead of refunding me she said she'll just charge me the difference and I tap my card a second time to pay the difference between the two orders. This all seem fine but when I got to the pickup window they were totally confused and didn't know which order to give me so they told me to pull ahead and park so they could bring it out to me. I waited again for another 5 minutes or so waiting for my order to show up and when the lady came out to get food to someone else I reiterated my order to her and told them the situation so they could come and bring it out to me. Unfortunately when they did finally bring it out to me it was missing the drink from the combo and due to the mix-up earlier it had the wrong receipt in the bag so when I try to explain to the worker that I'm missing a drink she wouldn't believe me because it didn't show on the receipt which had a totally different order. She told me to go into the restaurant to sort it out with the manager. I went inside and waited for a bit but they're all too busy to notice or care and I just eventually left without a drink because I was tired of wasting my time and frustrated. Unfortunately this isn't my first bad experience with McDonald's at various locations throughout the city and it seems that somehow McDonald's is the only one who can consistently offer bad service no matter where you go. Read moreI don’t usually do this but something needs to be done. 8 out of 10 times I come here I’m told I need to wait in the parking lot. Every time this happens I’ve had to wait 10+ minutes for my order. It’s difficult to do this with young kids in the car screaming. One time I refused to wait and they quickly were able to get my food together. I never order very much. This last experience today was enough to have to finally say something. I pulled into the drive thru with my 2 daughters. It was 5 minutes before 11 and they wouldn’t serve me. So ok I pulled thru to the parking lot to wait. My 2 year old was starting to get upset. It’s starts to get busy so I pull in to the driveway again. I only ordered a double cheeseburger combo with a cheeseburger on the side. Then I’m told I need to wait in the parking. So I tell the clerk I can’t wait very long I have 2 young kids in the car. She says it won’t be long she will make sure. Then I wait watching car after car after car get their order. At this point my 6 month old and 2 year old are crying. I thought McDonald’s was supposed to be fast and efficient. I will go to A&W next time as should everyone else. And if you do go and get sent to wait in the parking lot I urge you to please refuse. If we all do this maybe something will be done. It’s just not right. If I had a big order it would make sense...
