Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

Pizza delivery tracking is inaccurate. Says it's delivered before the delivery driver was even near our building. I had to call the store to confirm what was going. Apparently this is a known issue that head office still has not resolved.

Delivery driver doesn't know how to use google maps, nor follow instructions. He called us multiple times stating that he can't find our building and that our street doesn't exist on google. 40+ minutes later and still was unable to find our building. Called the store again and they offered a 50% discount under the condition that we help their driver find our place. IT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY to train your drivers. We don't live in a place with no reception or unclear roads, there is literally no excuse for not being able to find it ESPECIALLY within 40 mins.

When asking for a refund directly to the account, they said they couldn't do it because they weren't a manager, but offered refund and the ordered pizza if I go in stores. When I requested for fresh pizza for when I go in store, suddenly they are able to figure out how to give me a full refund without me going in.

There's just one too many problems with this location. I would have given 0 stars...

I've gotten take-out here a few times, but recently found it to be not so inviting. The toppings were scant and the store smelled weird (not pizza smells).

I tried walking in to order the other day and while talking to the woman at the till, a male worker interjected and said "We're closed." I was like "Uhhhh, you're very clearly not and it's 5:19pm." He insisted they were closed and couldn't take my order. I stood there, totally confused until I got him to explain. He then said they were having technical difficulties so my order wouldn't reach their kitchen. I just stood there completely dumbfounded.

He followed it up with, we may have it resolved in 30min if you want to come back. I truly couldn't believe that THAT was how the issue was explained to me and that there was nothing solution-oriented about it. Making it a point to never go to this location again. Technical issues happen, but it was how it was handled that...

Update as of July 10, 2025 I am now done with this location. Again the deal of the day pizza bought is cold, it was not a fresh pizza at all. It was no doubt sitting for hours before I picked it up. I changed all my starts to one.

I have been going out of the way to this location specifically for a few years because they have always done well. But the last 3 pizza's in a row over the last 2 months have had issues. Today which is making me seriously considering not coming back and going to the closer locations is a cold, not fresh pizza. I didn't find out until I got home. I am not happy at all.
