Quiznos — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

Poor hygiene and bad sandwich. Purchased a beef and Swiss melt and when they were making it I noticed they were using a old moldy looking wet rag to clean counters and the scale they used to weigh their meats accordingly. After "cleaning" their scale, they put the meats directly on it rather than using a bowl. I worked in the culinary industry for years and that is a health concern since bacteria can grow anywhere. I decided to give it a break since the meat was going to be submerge in AU JUS that should be at around 160 degrees. once the sandwich was made, I bit into in just to pull half of meat out. They served me the skin of the Deli roast beef - a solid piece of black wrap that cannot be eating without a fight and is not pleasant to the pallet. When I took it to the person ( I believe it was the owner) she said it was meat and after I said no a couple of times she insisted it was meat.. I had no other option than to leave it on the side and finished what I could. I should have asked for my money back but decided to not cause a scene. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE AGAIN, POOR HYGENE AND POOR...

Have been a loyal Quiznos customer for as long I can remember, but what happened to me at this location, is both pathetic and unreal. I drove from Kelowna and decided to stop here to get some food before heading home. I was hungry, exhausted and needed to use the washroom. I asked the lady right after ordering my sub if I could use the bathroom but she told me that "due to Covid 19 restrictions there were not available". What was the alternative? Putting your order on hold, walking 300 meters to Safeways and ask them to let you use their bathrooms instead.

This non sense added 25 unnecessary minutes to my day, and trust me. I will never buy food at this location again.

Wouldn't be a lot easier to clean your bathrooms rather than giving your customers bs? Or is this a money saving issue? In any event....what bathroom does the manager use? Unreal

Ps. I just read several other reviews after posting my own, at its pretty clear that this Quiznos has serious issues that are not addressed by the franchise owner.. Maybe Quiznos HQ should step in to prevent their brand from being...

Should have read the reviews but it has been a while since I’ve been in any Quiznos and it was an impulse.

Where to begin with how appallingly bad an experience buying a $14 sub can be.

Asked what I’d like on it, I said “everything” and the guy behind the counter actually balked! He asks me again and I have to physically lean over the counter because all the toppings are concealed behind a solid steel hood. I ask for lettuce and he literally applies several thin wisps of lettuce with his fingers as if he was adding a pinch of salt. I’m incredulous. It’s the same for every single topping which he makes me specifically ask for. You’d think they were paying someone’s wages with whatever they save by being able to slice one less tomato every day.

And then the gall to turn the card reader towards me with tips already highlighted.

Avoid this place unless it’s the actual zombie apocalypse and you need a place to hide. But whatever you do, don’t...
