Suzette's Cafe — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

Since my previous review, they continue to amaze and delight! My husband is addicted to the Korean pork and when I p/u my lunch I usually bring it home for dinner now. Haha I'm lucky to get any. They also have a bunch of new dessert squares which are just as addicting. Highly recommend 👏👏

Previous review Amazing Korean pork on Thursday and spicy Korean chicken on Tuesdays! The Shepard's pie is also on Thursday and delicious. They do a chicken Katsu with curry that's very well done and their chicken Blt sandwiches are so good too! The chicken sandwiches are made with the schnitzel and pounded until tender and thin, lightly fried and crispy. The specials are typically served with salad but you can have soup instead.

The specials change every day- so usually 2-4 hot dishes plus 2 soups rotating daily. In addition, there's a sandwich bar menu with many different types of hot and cold sandwiches and made fresh to order. (Salads are as well) U can choose your toppings and dressings and select between different bread types, or different buns, or a wrap.

The dessert available fluctuates- usually they have a selection of a few of these; lemon coconut, Nanaimo bar, oat fudge, triple chocolate brownie, peanut butter bar, Rocky road and then a selection of huge cookies - peanut butter dipped in chocolate, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip. Chips, candy bars, gum and beverages too

The service is really what makes this place stand out. It's a well oiled machine for one; they all work in amongst each other very well, and know where the next staff is going to move next. They are super fast and efficient even with a huge line I've never waited long. They're super sweet and accommodating and so friendly! They try to accommodate anything you ask of them and never seem put out. I'm here every week as a result of the service. In a world where service seems to be lacking and most fast casual places full of either under trained or uninterested staff, this place is a gem! Oh, and it's SUPER CLEAN! Even when they're super busy the place is spotless. Both behind the line and in the restaurant area. It's an open kitchen and prep area too and it's literally kept impeccable and they have fantastic hygiene. Well...

Suzette's is one of my favourite places to go, so good in fact that i wish they were open on weekends so i could eat here more often. I work close by, and the it is always my number one option for lunch when i havent packed something for myself. Theres only four items on the menu i ever order because they are ALWAYS perfect. 1, Suzette's Breakfast - 2 x eggs sunny side up, 2 x bacon strips, hashbrowns, toast, amazing. 2, Chicken Caesar Wrap - Chicken Schnitzel, Caesar Salad, add bacon and cheeze and sriracha and you have a winner. 3, Spicy Pork (or chicken), Spicy pork on rice with cabbage is amazing, to treat yourself add chicken schnitzel on top to have a mind blowing lunch, be warned, its spicy. 4, Chicken Katsu... La creme de la creme. its chicken schnitzel on rice, with katsu sauce, served with curry chicken on the side... so freaking good. its like having your grandmother cook you amazing meals as a child, its warm, flavourful and cooked with love. Oh, and i forgot, the staff is incredible! They are always kind, and feel like a family to me, always asking how me and my wife are doing, if my parents are doing well etc.. its just such a nice personal experience, even tho its basically a fast food joint. I love this place and the staff and especially the food 10/10...

Suzette’s cafe is the best place to stop by for a hearty breakfast before work, brunch with family, friends and colleagues or if you’re looking for a meal for lunch and dinner to remind you of home. Food portions are generous. Desert options provide if you want a treat with your meal or to stop by for a snack. And plenty of drinks in the fridge to choose from. Coffee and tea are offered although being that this is a cafe I would expect more specialty choices. Service is kind and attentive and the atmosphere is simple; this could be your new favourite hideaway cafe, surrounded by commercial businesses and bustling traffic.

To conclude: I gave 4.5 stars for overall experience and an excellent 5 stars for service. Being that this is a cafe I would expect more coffee beverages and specialty drinks on the menu If there was more variety. I also thought that the Design and display of food in the cafe was nothing special when I first arrived. But after sitting down enjoying a meal and I found my experience...
