I frequent this restaurant particularly for the "early bird" breakfast they offer because it is quite good for the cost! In the past there was no issue just getting the breakfast. I'm sorry but I refuse to pay 2.99 for a cup of coffee or tea which may or may not be refilled depending on how busy they are. I was surprised to be given my bill and see that I was auto charged the 2.99 for coffee! I questioned the waitress and was told a drink is now required for the early bird to be applicable. I've been there several times over the last few months so I know this is a recent change. It's disappointing to me as the waitress did not mention anything when I ordered just water as normal and nor was the charge offered to be removed after the fact. If you are going to offer a breakfast special that requires a drink for purchase then just make that part of the charge! Don't rely on the "small print" to get a extra 3.00. Is it really a "special" then? Not to mention when this particular special pops up on their website, there is no mention that a drink purchase is required, so I know this is a recent change. I gave a 2 star because the food is...

Awoke yesterday with a taste on my tongue. And that taste in my mind was a juicy burger. As my day unfolded, I came back home in Port Hope after a countryside tour. Then something spectacular happened. . . my wife suggested we go to Santorini in downtown Port Hope. Upon arriving, we were greeted at the front door display of today being "Burger Day." This converted to $4 off all hamburgers 🍔. We both ordered the Canadian Burger with Bacon & Cheese. The burger arrived, looking just like the picture in the front window, including steak knife for cutting the burger and 2 stacked onion rings as a finishing touch. The burger was a beef patty, lettuce, tomato, a few shots of Tabasco, and sprinkle of S&P on a bun. Served with homemade FF was a meal greatly appreciated. Upon completing the meal, I just had to thank the Cook / owner Raj for a job well done. Elbows up. To summarize it up, great meal, perfect location, and big value for the dollar. It was simple yet amazing. The price rate was for 2 diners total. We will be back, and I highly recommend this establishment. Just one person's opinion,...

Don't even bother with this place, don't be fooled with good reviews - those seems to be from the previous management. Just go to any other restaurant across the street with a beautiful patio, delicious food and amazing service!

We came in a family of 4 (2 kids) for lunch, the ambiance is a bit stuffy, but ok, the place was nearly empty, so we figured we'll get quick service. The menu threw me off right away. One of those places serving everything under the moon - Italian specials for lunch, American fare with burgers and such, Indian food with curries, did find some Greek items as well.

As we were studying this unnecessarily extensive menu, the waitress approached us to let us know that "She (owner) doesn't want them here," pointing to unmarked coffee cups that we brought in from place next door and didn't have a chance to finish. We were further suggested to finish them outside and then come back in lol. The owner was watching this conversation from across the bar, but didn't jump in at any point. We left. The next place that we went to welcomed us and our coffee cups...

visit: april 15th, 2023.. dinner Saturday dinner time and this place had free tables as first 2 restaurants didn't entertain me and the girlfriend (though there were free tables for 2; reservations needed prior to arrival, that's on me.) we were entertained on-the-spot despite being short on staff (our waitress came in to work when somebody called in) and she (and other waitress) came when needed.. girlfriend and i ordered 2 meals, had 2 appetizers, (had hummus and 2 orders of pita to go too).. total bill was 88 which isn't bad considering we had take out and we were very satisfied. I'm no greek cuisine expert but it tasted great! reasonable service time, there were like 6 to 8 occupied tables. seafood pasta highly recommended. did i mention our server (forgot to get her name) was awesome? will be back for sure!

I ordered the Greek Moussaka and it was fantastic! Based on the google reviews I was hesitant to go to Santorini's but my friend wanted to try it. The Greek salad and sides were fine but nothing special. The star of the show was really the Moussaka. The top layer of potato was rich and creamy. The bottom layers of vegetable and beef were well seasoned and flavourful. The the taste and texture was spot on. I definitely recommended trying it! My friend got the chicken Souvlaki and she said it was good. Overall I’m quite happy with the dining experience. The server was friendly and helpful (I ask a lot of questions). The prices are fair for the portion sizes. And the bathrooms were clean. I’ll likely be back to try their breakfast and a boozy milkshake.

I was visiting Port Hope and chose to eat here after seeing others enter the restaurant. Trish was my server and she was friendly and attentive. I ordered the pork souvlaki dinner for lunch. The pork was cooked perfectly. Safe internal temperature and still moist. I find that it is not uncommon for chicken and pork to be either undercooked or overcooked and dry and my pork here was perfect. The rice, assorted vegetable and side salad were also delicious. Their boozy milkshake with your choice of alcohol is yummy. I chose a Kahlua chocolate milkshake!
