The 2 star rating is strictly for SUBWAY as a company, NOT because of the food or service I received yesterday.
I'm always a tipper. Anyone who is in or know of someone in the service industry, tips are important!
However, it can to my knowledge last night that SUBWAY KEEPS THE TIP!
I'll explain.
I was paying via debit and as I pressed tip, my son spoke and said "why tip? they don't get the tip!"
Upon further discussion, he thought the tips went to the debit company and I explained how that works and to "prove the point" I asked the young server behind the counter "you get your tips, right?"
With a crooked smile and a shrug she said "oh, no. we don't get the tip."
So, although he had the wrong reasoning, my son was right, apparently they do not get their tips! at least not at this location.
If this is a SUBWAY "thing", I find that absolutely disgusting and reprehensible. If it's specific to this location, then that owner should feel gross about their conduct and give their head a good shake.
You own the business, you don't deserve the tips. Your staff that keeps you running and making money should.
Anyways, I thought I would share this because I know I had NO idea. I'll still use this location as I have found the staff to be polite and welcoming. For future, you can bet dollars to donuts, I'll be hitting that "No Tip" button every...

I had ordered the Mozarella Bella which is suppose to be a Vegetarian sub.
