I recently had a wonderful experience at Cobs Bread, thanks to Simon, who turned what could have been a stressful day into a positive one. I was incredibly frustrated after thinking I had misplaced my wallet, and Simon stepped in with such kindness and patience. She went above and beyond to help me during that situation, showing a level of service that is truly rare these days.

This is my family's local bakery and a favorite bread shop, but unfortunately, I'm giving 1 star because of the poor customer service. After 8 years of being regular customers buying mainly our favorite sour bread with seeds almost every second day, today my husband was refused to get two loaves of bread using our last 2 coupons that expire this evening. The reason was that we have the right to get 1 bread per day using the coupon, and not compromise was made to a loyal customer. Just for your information, onother location let us having 2 breads with the coupons and were very kind. Even the young blond girl that "helped" my husband took away 2 coupons and gave him 1 bread. He had to ask for one...

Nothing to say about the service, the ladies at the counter were both very friendly and efficient, dealing with a big lineup of costumers. I had stopped by to pick up a loaf of sourdough bread, which is what I use for my breakfast toasts. I have to say the loaf looked great from the outside, nice golden crust and all. But when I got home I realized that it was practically raw on the inside. The dough is so undercooked that it just won't toast, even with the toaster on the highest setting, it will just burn the crust! I have to say this was the worst loaf of bread I bought in a decade.
