Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Portage la Prairie

Right in the middle due to way the meal started. We were seated promptly upon arriving. We all began reviewing the menu as it had been awhile since we had eaten at a BP. About five to seven minutes later we were still waiting to meet our actual server and order our drinks. When the hostess who sat us arrived and informed us we were unfortunately sat at a reserved table and requested we "move sections". Anyone in the hospitality industry will know we were being lied to and that the section was being shut down for the night so the server could close. All of us at the table being very familiar and active in the industry were understanding but offended that we were being lied to. We moved sections and proceeded to wait about three minutes tops for our server to arrive. She was great. Refilled drinks as they were just about finished. Fulfilled our request for Marinara quickly after the Starting Platter had arrived and also helped the table total out at the end of the meal with a "coupon" we had not known about. She was great and as usual for our group tipped well for the effort and hospitality. However this BP is receiving 3 stars due to the way the meal started. Sure a person who has never worked/works in the industry might understand you made a mistake and sat someone at a reserved table. However when that table is left vacant until you have almost finished your meal and it eventually is occupied by two people as the rest of the section lays vacant you understand you were lied...

My wife decided on BP for her birthday supper, and we drove to Portage la Prairie to celebrate. Walking in the front door was like walking into total chaos with loud music and lots of people. We ordered our meal, and when my meal came (very quickly too), it came with a plate of fries I never ordered. About 15 minutes later, the waitress came and gave us a second plate of fries while my wife waited to receive her order. I requested my meal to be reheated because it cooled while I was waiting to eat until my wife’s meal arrived. About 10 minutes later, both our meals came, delivered by a different server. It was the oddest dining experience we have ever had — so disappointing that our meals were not served at the same time, plus we were served two orders of fries from another table which we did not order! I did not leave a tip and expressed our disappointment to the waitress who collected the payment. She did apologize and said she hoped we would come back to give them another chance. It will be a long time before we try this...

Worst burgers ever. Our group had ordered apps and diner. Out of 8 people 5 ordered the Boston burgers. They where the worst I've ever had. Charred .way over cooked .just terrible. And the waitress had a personality of a ...., she was sitting at a table when we walked in. Then came took orders was extremely rude. Short with us .and bothered that we even came in . This was in the lounge.yes it was at 10 45 pm. So maybe she was just wanting to get out of there by 12. This took olace Monday night.march4 2024. Didn't get her name but after that experience it would be a hard no for me to go back there. I know staff is hard to find but she is def not good for your business. Check your cameras we were a table 8. Sat right in front by bar. And I assure you I am not one to complain .told her about it and she just sighed and said "ugh well you want another one. I laughed . No I'm good. Was to tired do deal with it as we just worked 16 hours restoring hydro to the farm area surrounding...
