If we could give a negative rating we would. From the cranky and rude lady in electronics, who barks out a very loud "NO" when you excuse yourself to get some help with an item... To the shelves that are very often empty, to special advertised items, that for some reason they never have, to the BLATANT racism, we have seen it all... this afternoons shop was a real eye opener, we never thought we'd be racially profiled.....their east Indian staff I'm guessing have been told to suspect all indigenous peoples, and usually when we go through self checkout, if I'm paying cash, they just suspend my transaction, and take me to their till.... today though, because my wife appears indigenous, the east Indian man at the self checkout, decided my wife was a thief... when she wanted to pay cash for her transaction, she asked for the clerk to come over to suspend the sale... he came over and voided my wife's entire sale, and rescanned every single item in her cart, only to verify she in fact scanned all her items, then he suspended her transaction and took it to another till...this isn't the first time my wife has been met by this type of behavior from their staff.... maybe walmart should consider actually having cashiers available if they are worried about all items in a cart being scanned... and maybe considerhiring a manager that's available for customer concerns, and not just put a call on hold and leave it there for over half an hour.... some sensitivity training and language training would also be a definite asset. A human rights complaint has been filed, since head office also doesn't seem to care or want to do anything about this situation. Shame on you...

Was going to buy inks for my printer which was in a lock box, cashier was busy helping a customer but there was a manager, yellow vest with a "10 year service badge" named ANNIE at the electronic section talking to a customer so we decided to wait as well so he stood nearby, not wanting to interrupt- my fiance figured maybe if he tries to make eye contact , he would get noticed by ANNIE. She then proceeds to glare at him and it turns out that my fiance over heard that they were just talking about eyeliners and how "she used to wear more eyeliner, and that she should go to her friends house for a makeover" so we left without ink.
At the checkout when it was time to pay, the screen froze and it didn't work. We asked for help- which then the employee used the tap, it didn't work then the employee proceeded, outloud- tell us that we didn't have money. She then proceeds to tell us again that the card declined and that we need to use a different card and LEFT. We asked if she could reset the payment process as the screen froze, MULTIPLE TIMES- We said that we're pretty positive it had money- and it was tooth pulling for her to even consider resetting it. Another employee came to finally reset the machine and our card worked perfectly. Didn't catch the cashier employee's name but it was on Friday, August 30- around 8:40pm. Long dark hair.

Like why would a customer have to go through all the trouble with no assistant from the sales representative and then to ask to purchase the cell phones and to get a arrogance response from the sales representative, This experience was so horrible I went straight to the manger after I got judged by the sales representative , š”š”š” horrible service representative in the electronic area she's slow and doesn't know her customer service...
