Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Portage la Prairie

I've hit the drive-thru a few times. Fave chicken place, never seen it dirty, always friendly customer service, very happy and funny and joyful here, always have some chuckles. In an ever changing world, this place and the people that work the drive thru windows have always held great conversations and great smiles even when the stress of the industry tries them from time to time, they also listen to you when you're making your order and they do not rush you. In comparison to any other quick food industry, I must say, I would recommend THIS ONE, over any other quick food joint in this so-called city of portage la prairie. And the chicken and food is up to par and fresh. Next time, I will check out in house dining. I would like to have a wing night here where it's substance free cheers! I also must say, that this is also the only restaurant that has offered me to cook from fresh specific menu items of my request and have been bang on the service and wait times.

I walked in without a mask Because I simply didn’t have one. I asked if maybe they would have one to give to me while keeping my distance. They aggressively said no and told me to “get out”. I then. Still being hungry for Popeyes went through the drive through. They were very polite to me through the drive through. When I got to the window. I saw 1 employee completely not wearing a mask while takeing an order from a customer who was not wearing her mask over her nose. I then saw another 3 employees with it underneath there nose. While I would usually not have a problem with this. I don’t understand why they would very hypocritically tell me to put on a mask and very aggressively tell me to get out, and then proceed to do the exact opposite. I knew that something is going to open in this beautiful portage la prairie, but never knew that it's going to be halal food, popeyes has the best food / menu in the city, I have been to thier other locations in Winnipeg, but Portage la prairieeeee is my favourite so far 💁‍♂️👌 Inside is very clean, stuff is professional, and even the owner is such a kind heart person, I have met him for the first time, he treated me like a family member, his kindness touched my heart! I would always go there, thier food is not greasy at all, I love thier Cole slaw and other chicken pieces 🐥it has beautiful taste, not very sugary or salty at all!
