A&W Canada — Restaurant in Powell River

"Disliked" mostly on how they can and do treat "customers", but, basically cause there's really only 2 fast food restaurants in pr in "only" that reason is "A&W" really "any good"! ALSO, of course it is a "fast food restaurant", so on that note the food period is "ONLY FAST FOOD" LOL! But, i will admit, their food's not "completely discustding" lol but, when it comes to their manners, my opinion as well as "ALOT OF OTHERS" I"VE HEARD MENTION THE "SAME EXACT THING", pretty much anyways, that they are in a sense hles most of the time and act towards "customers", quite "stuck up" and even plain just "RUDE"! "We" think possibly this is because of the fact that they believe cause their the "only" "A&W" AND REALLY THE ONLY OTHER "FAST FOOD RESTAURANT" IN TOWN,, WHICH IN ANY WAY MEANS THAT THEY CAN "ACT" AND TREAT "CUSTOMERS" LIKE THEY DO AT MOST OF THE TIME EATING THERE!! WE ALL WOULD GIVE THEM A BIT OF "ADVICE" JUST TO "NOT" EVER THINK THAT THEY MIGHT BE OR COULD POSSIBLY BE THE ONLY OTHER ONE OR, THE "BETTER" ONE, CAUSE IN ALL ACTUALITY, THAT'S "NOT" COMPLETELY TRUE NOR THINKING THAT WAY IS EVEN "RIGHT" OR "PROFESSIONAL", AS THEY ARE A "BUSINESS", PERIOD!! OH, AND BTW, LOL, "A&W",, YOUR "FOOD", IF YOU EVEN CALL IT OR REALLY ANY "FAST FOOD" "REAL FOOD", IS IN ALL ACTUALITY NOT AT ALL THAT "GREAT" OR ANY OR EVEN AT MOST MUCH "BETTER" THAN THE OTHER ONE(S), OR ARE AGAIN "AT MOST", NOT BY "MUCH" REALLY AT ALL! Always fast & friendly. Doing the right thing, for guests. You can tell the staff work together as partners, to make sure everything gets done properly.

The Restaurant is always clean, apart from the odd time where it is really busy or bad weather and the floor might be a little dirty from the outside, but these are things that are understandable and not to be held against the staff, due to the diligent way they keep the restaurant to a high standard, and take pride in their work.

Unlike the local McDonalds, you feel welcome when you walk in, not like its an inconvenience. if A&W makes a mistake, they fix it. No matter what. at McDonalds, you get told either you're lying, or that they couldn't possibly have done that because "I was right there when it was made" as a manager once told me. and if you do get your meal or item refunded you don't even wanna go back because they made you feel like an idiot. the staff at A&W acknowledge that it was a mistake and go above and beyond to fix the problem. 10/10.

With the way A&W treats their food they allow to be sold in the restaurant, you know it isn't garbage, its actually good and nutritious. You can also get ANYTHING in a lettuce wrap, for no charge! That's just amazing. will always...

You can sit down and they will bring your food to you. Unfortunately today I had a unpleasant experience trying to order the same breakfast I have been ordering for years, with no problem. All Canadian Special brown toast over easy eggs with all sausage patties, which they first offered when they ran out of sausage. The hostess said there was no button to Press for my order, and that they really shouldn't be letting me get that as I am the one throwing off their count, I stated the other two hostess have always just let the kitchen know. Yah but I'm the Manager she stated. At this point I thought this is to much trouble for me to get the same breakfast I always have gotten. I walked out the door and will not be coming back. Without an apology, as I am always positive and humourous with everyone else and never been blamed for issues with the count, the price or no button to Press.
