qathet Visitor Centre — Attraction in Powell River

What surprises me the most after recently attending our local Visitors Center, was that I interestingly browsed through nice hoodies, jackets, hats, patches, and other nice items that depict our lovely small town of Powell River. My 13 year old daughter even happily got herself an 'all-player autographed Powell River Paper Kings' sports jacket. This place is more than just a small office to get local maps and browse through oscillating racks of post cards. I just can't wait until we can possibly get to buy local "Qathet"...

The place to go for information, as you'd expect, but also quite good for souvenirs. They have a selection that mirrors that of several of the other knick knack shops in town and at competitive prices.
