Deb's Café & Specialty Bakery — Restaurant in Prince George

This is a hidden gem in Prince George!!(It is in the Stantec building, on the corner across from the New Pool downtown) For those that are looking for a bakery that ALWAYS exceeds expectations: Deb, the owner & her daughter Hannah create some of the most delicious & drool worthy low carb/keto/gluten free goodies in all of Prince George.But the most wonderful thing is that they taste way better than ANY high carb, high sugar comparisons. Deb & Hannah are also 2 of the friendliest, nicest & helpful ladies you could ever ask to meet! I highly recommend the following: The Chocolate Cheesecake mousse, The Cinnamon buns, The Brownies, The Carrot cake, The chocolate & vanilla cake, The Lemon Tarts are absolutely amazing!! Actually the list could go on because I have not had Anything there that I did not like. I also tried the Butter Chicken on Cauli rice and it rivals anything from an Indian restaurant..and it’s Low Carb!! Try this place for yourself and I guarantee you will also give it a 5 star rating!!...

Since cutting way back on carbs and trying to increase my protein, I have been on the hunt for treats that make me feel less like I am dieting. I’ve been to Deb’s a few times recently and am blown away every time I go! I’ve brought family and friends to Deb’s on different days and have tried multiple dessert squares and cakes that are all to die for. I have yet to go in and not absolutely love the treat I’ve chosen. Today Deb suggested I try her frappe creation and oh my goodness! Soooo good😍! Not only are the food and drinks phenomenal, but the staff including Deb herself are so friendly. Every time I’ve gone in I’ve been treated with such kindness and all staff are knowledgeable about their product which I love. I’m so happy I found this little cafe/bakery. We will be regular customers...

I went in last week on my birthday and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. I am celiac and following a low-carb diet and was looking for a birthday treat for after dinner as I wouldn’t be eating cake. I was also lucky enough to meet the owner, Deb, and man, if she isn’t the sweetest, most pleasant human being ever!! She even treated me to a special treat because it was my birthday.
