Mr. Chibap — Restaurant in Prince George

Love this place! It’s fantastic that possibly an equal or even better restaurant replaced the previous restaurant here!

The owner (or manager?) is VERY friendly. They have a fun freezer of Korean dessert treats.

I would say they have the best fried chicken in town. Hands down.

Their bibimbap is the best I’ve tried! I’ve tried a lot in Vancouver and I usually complain that it’s too dry, but here they sauce it perfectly. Delicious.

Their bao buns are fun and really tasty too!

I do think smaller plates of bibimbap and chicken at lower price points would be popular.

I’ve tried the pork katsu and the sushi, but I prefer the style I get at Japanese restaurants.

Since it’s a new restaurant I do hope their quality, portions, and pricing stay the same! And I hope they are profiting enough...

Okay, hear me out… this new Korean fusion resto? It UNDERSTOOD the assignment.

I walked in craving Japchae and Korean Fried Chicken… and it did not dissapoint!

Let’s talk about that Japchae first — glossy, chewy, flavour-packed noodles that taste like someone’s Korean auntie whispered secrets into the pan. Nailed it!

And the chicken? We tried the sweet spicy flavor! crispy, saucy, crunchy magic. It’s giving everything it needs to give.

Oh and portion sizes? Bless their hearts. You’re definitely leaving with leftovers (or a full belly and no regrets).

We had such a great experience at Mr. Chibap! We came in just one minute before closing (we didn’t realize they closed at that time, sorry again!), and they still kindly accepted our order without any hesitation or attitude. The staff were incredibly friendly, fast, and professional.

We ordered the sweet and spicy half chicken, and wow, it was AMAZING. They prepared it in just five minutes, and it stayed hot all the way home.

The restaurant was super clean, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. We’re genuinely so grateful and happy to have been served. We’ll definitely be going back!...
