Oh boy, where do I even begin?
We had a party of six dining at this restaurant, and the experience was a disaster from start to finish. First, the seating—the leather on the benches was ripped and damaged, the backrests were stained, and there was hair all over them. Not a great first impression. After waiting about 15 minutes, we were finally greeted by someone named Sherry, who introduced herself as the manager. She mentioned they were short-staffed and that she was helping out. Instead of taking our order right away, she launched into a 10-minute sales pitch about their “Royalty Offers,” urging us to download their app for discounts. Look, we came to eat—not sit through a marketing seminar. When she finally got around to taking our drink and food orders, she insisted she could memorize everything and didn’t need to write it down. Big mistake. A few minutes later, she came back asking, “Oh, I forgot! Can I confirm your orders?” Seriously? Paper was invented over a thousand years ago—take notes! After she finally got the order right, we patiently waited. Twenty minutes passed. We saw two plates sitting on the counter, ready to be served, but instead of bringing them to us, Sherry was in the kitchen arguing with the chef and staff. She wouldn’t stop—constantly disrupting the kitchen instead of letting them focus on their work. After 30 minutes of waiting, the server finally brought our food. But by then, the two plates of fried shrimp and fries had been sitting out for half an hour—the food was cold, and the fries were soggy. When we pointed it out, the server apologized and offered to have them remade. We agreed.Another 20 minutes passed. Still no food. At that point, we decided to cancel the order. Not once did Sherry, the so-called manager, come to apologize or attempt to make things right. Instead, she spent the entire time arguing with the kitchen staff instead of ensuring customers were taken care of. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I will never waste my time or hard-earned money at this location again. bring our food ! At this point 2 plates of Fried shrimp and fries been sitting at the counter for 30 minutes waiting for the rest of the order to be ready , both plates are cold and fries are soggy! we asked the server , she apologized and said she can have both plates redone to which we agreed , another 20 minutes passed and still nothing ! The manager, who took our order, seemed unprofessional. She introduced us to their loyalty app but couldn’t even specify which one it was on the app store. If the staff isn’t sure about their own products, how can they expect customers to trust or engage with them?
When we placed our order, the manager didn’t bother to write anything down, which led to confusion. She came back later to ask about one of the items we had already ordered. It’s not rocket science, just note it down on a piece of paper to avoid mistakes.
The food was another letdown. Some items were downright pathetic, and the wait time was excessive. We noticed two of our dishes sitting in the kitchen for nearly 15 minutes, waiting for the rest of the order. By the time it was served, it was cold. When we pointed this out, they offered to remake it, but that took forever, so we ended up canceling it. Two of us didn’t even get to eat anything.
To make matters worse, the fries were completely bland – no salt at all. How do you forget something so basic?
The kitchen staff seemed to be working hard, but the manager was just joking around and distracting them. It was frustrating to see such a lack of professionalism.
I also noticed several recent negative reviews posted the same day as my visit, which speaks volumes about how poorly this place is being managed.
