Second Cup Café — Restaurant in Prince George

The few times that I have come here, the staff were extremely rude. The first time was a few months ago, and the two staff members that were working were at the pickup counter talking with a group of their friends. They looked at me and didn’t even acknowledge me, I stood at the order counter for about 2 minutes before leaving because it was clear they had no interest in working. The second time, the female employee told me that my drink would take a bit longer to make and asked if i still wanted it. I told her i didn’t mind the wait at all, and she sighed and rolled her eyes at me and didn’t say anything else, even after i said thank you. The only person i’ve had be friendly towards me was one of the male staff. The rest are rude. I’d much rather go to Starbucks up the road where there’s a welcoming environment, and staff go out of there way to be friendly and create...

Gf, and 17 year NH employee just came home in floods of tears. Just wanted to treat us after a long hard day. Dropped almost $14 on 2 iced coffee drinks, only to get all the way home and find out the was zero coffee inside. I drove all the way back, for staff to advise they have told management already. Refunded us, did not make any replacements. All and all, wasted my GF time, effort, my gas, my time. All to simply be left out of pocket (time & energy) and yet again, another local business leaves us regretting our support. Poor timing for poor service. Love going here, the vibes are immaculate. Theres a mural on the wall and i really like the moose on it, he gives grandparent vibes and i love him. I always get a mocha frappuccino with light whipped cream and on occasion i'll get a sweet baked good of sorts (highly recommend the apple cinnamon buns). Depending on when you go it can be busy, but im not deducting anything based on that, just that its a bit small so that can feel stifling.
