Éco Café — Restaurant in Quebec

Nut sandwich was good. Gumbo was ok but I doubt it's made onsite. Coffee was ok. I don't really get the "eco" in the name as (a) they only offer cream or milk, (b) neither of their soups was a vegetarian option, (c) they serve you a mass-produced bread and a plastic individual serving of butter you probably won't eat next to your soup, etc. Details matter!

Good place to go for coffee. Hidden gem. Loved their matcha latte and their brownies. the lemon poppy seed muffin is famous too and usually get out of order quickly. Love the atmosphere, and the fact that they show case...

Lors de ma première visite à l'Éco Café, j'ai dégusté un chaï latte glacé au lait d'amande (ils offrent aussi du lait de soya comme alternative au lait de vache), un panini au thon et une galette avoine et pépites de chocolat. J'ai vraiment apprécié le chaï. Le reste du repas était à mon sens correct, parfait pour un lunch sur le pouce. Le service sympathique ajoute à l'expérience. Petits bémols: 1-une terrasse plein soleil sans parasol et l'ameublement extérieur attaché par des fils encombrants 2- l'absence de toiles solaires aux fenêtres.
