This restaurant made me feel the overwhelming need to write my first ever review, and it’s not a good one. First impressions: on each dining table is a wasabi pea snack container that seems to have been eaten out of. The container serves as a cup for the pens and papers for ordering your sushi. We were seated at the back of the restaurant near yellow stained and dusty white wrinkly curtains. We order some soup (very salty) and nigiri. The sushi comes quick, but with each chew it feels there’s an overwhelming amount of rice. Where’s the fish? Especially the thin slices of Tuna - that tuna still has ice on it, looks anemic pink/white when it should be a hearty red color - I took a sniff and got a whiff of the fishiness. The moment I put it in my mouth I thought why did I do that. I forcefully ate the rest of it as they charge you $2 for each piece of leftover. I decided to give the stir fried hot food a try and received my udon which is 1/2 the thickness of what udon should be. Udon is thick and chewy, and the one here is thin and weak. I realized I fell victim to false advertising - online there are these attractive funky rose sushi sculptures and decorative sushi art plating, but when you get there they serve you 2 ounces of seaweed salad from the Costco bucket (we can taste it). And there are no pretty sushi platters, only smelly fish that tries to hide behind thick slimy mayo sauce. The servers are attentive but one of our beef nigiri orders never came and instead we realized they gave us a wrong plate. As we were thinking about getting out of there due to our stomachs questioning what was ingested, we see the waiters carry around plates of General Tso’s chicken with a paper receipt stuck directly to the sticky sauce of every plate of chicken. Hot food cold food. The general tso’s chicken, miso soup, wonton soup, and stir fried udon were greasy and so inauthentic that it was kind of good...? Like guilty pleasure food good. In total paid $80 canadian ($60 usd) to eat around 10 pieces of sushi, some meager portions of chicken and noodles and two bowls of soup. Felt like the choice to give us as much carbs and rice as possible and as little fish as possible is the point of the all-you-can-eat model, and we can’t do anything about falling...

In a nutshell, horrible lying hostess. This place is close to where I live. We used to go every week and it was good food and friendly staff. Since about a year or so a new hostess or maybe she is the owner, this place is horrible. I call to reserved for 2 persons and she said they were are full. I close and call again saying we are four suddenly the place is free. One time we arrive and after 1:15 while waiting for our second order she wanted to kick us out. It suppose to be an all you can eat. We were not over ordering. She harass us continuously until we left. In the following weeks she told us you can have the table only for 1h30. It no longer a fun place to go enjoy with friend. It a eat and run place. It feel like the want to max out the amount of people every night. I hesitated a long time before writing this review, trying to think the management would change. Unfortunately, this happened to us many times in the same year. So we don't go there anymore. I wish it would go back to the place where you can enjoy your evening. By the way, we never order to much food, waste any food, stay over exaggerating time. Is that happen to...

I was told by a lot of people to try this place for sushi. And I wanted to love it but it was OK. I’m from Toronto so it is hard to beat really good sushi.

PROS: the designs/interior decorations are really nice! Very cool. -service was good. Fast and efficient -there were some dishes that stood out: Salt and pepper squid Saumon flambé, thon flambé kimchi, kamikaze, spécial kumi CONS: -No wasabi/ginger that comes with the sushi??? (It’s the first time I’ve seen That) *nvm, you have to ask for them in order to avoid wasting too much but it’s free) -A lot of the sushi rolls are more saucy ( sweet sauce, spicy mayo) I’m more of a simple sushi girl and even their sashimi was OK. -Shrimp tempura didn’t come with the usual ponzu sauce but spicy mayo again. -it was more catered to a western taste (more sauces on top of sushi) which is not a bad thing for some people but not for me.

Also, DONT FORGET TO MAKE A...
