At the recommendation of a friend who had visited Quebec a month earlier, we stopped here for dinner after a long day of walking around Old Quebec. It looks like a new restaurant, in a nice shopping center with plenty of parking. Our hostess didn't speak English, but got us English menus and took us to our seat in the section where an English speaking waitress was. She also apologized in French and English for the fact that kids menus were only in French. First, the kids menu, even if you can't read it, is out of this world. They give you 3D glasses and lots of activities. The kids had no issues having fun with it, my oldest daughter even picked up a few French words. They liked it so much they brought it home with them, not just to the hotel, but all the way back to the States! My wife and I ordered their pasta special, it was discounted and included a salad for $1 extra on Tuesdays. My oldest ordered the mac and cheese and my youngest a pizza. Our waitress was quick to offer suggestions, take our order and refill our drinks. We couldn't have been happier. She asked if we wanted kids meals as soon as they were ready and they came out with our salads. We both got "side" ceaser salads, when the food runner brought it to our table, I told her she had the wrong table, they were HUGE! Our waitress was right behind her and assured her they were ours. My wife and I could have easily split one and not finished it, let alone two. It was perfectly dressed, fresh lettuce and croutons and bacon and cheese. My kids, who normally reject salads, were both loving it and eating off of ours. I tried both of my kids food, my daughters mac and cheese was amazingly good, one of the best I've had. Nice and creamy and cheesy. She liked it so much she insisted we eat at Boston Pizza in Brossard on the way home and at Boston's in Baltimore (very disappointing) once we found out it was the same company. My other daughter's pizza was also great, nice and cheesy, flavorful sauce and soft bread. I ordered the broken lasagna and my wife ordered the Montreal meat spaghetti. Both were also huge, very hot, full of flavor and packed with meat. We ate from each others plates since they were so good and we knew there was no way we'd finish it. Kids liked the Montreal smoked meat pasta but thought my lasagna was too spicy (I think it was perfect). We were certainly blown away by BP in general and this BP in particular. It was our favorite dinner of the trip, if not our favorite meal. It will certainly be on our itinerary next time we...
Read moreTable of 7, only 1 half enjoyed their meal. First, my mojito was totally undrinkable, tasted lime pure lime juice, gave me heart burn with 2 sips, i had to send it back. Chicken brochette was underwhelming, served with bland white rice, no taste, no sauce, veggies we're fridge cold. Kid spaghetti had a tiny sauce compared to the amount of pasta (pasta and sauce are apart) and I tasted and did not enjoy. Two boys live off chicken nuggets and did not even eat half of these. Friend had chicken parmesan with spaghetti and plate was tiny for the price and nothing special tastewise, also had cold veggies. Poutine was bland and cheese hard. 1 kid had a pizza and enjoyed it, everyone else was very dissapointed. Restaurant was full, service was slow, they were trying to pick up our plates vefore we were done. I do not recommend. I will never go back to any Boston Pizza. Maybe if you stick with pizza it's allright? I very rarely give negative reviews but this...
Read morebad service, never been to a place where the staff are so confused.. we received the food but no plates nor utensils and no beverage, we had to wait 10 min for the waitress to come back and we had to ask her for plates, napkins, utensils and beverages. when was time for the the main course... same issue we had to ask for utensils. after the meal we ordered coffee the waitress brought us coffee that was cold so we had to wait another 10 min to get fresh coffee. our bill was over 150$ one would think they would at least try to give us simili service but no. no offer for a doggy bag, they pulled out their best dessert from the menu and their new menu is so confusing you can't find anything you are looking for because they try to use trendy names for their stuff rather than the real names. really aweful experience not mentioning the annoying customers that kept yelling. This was most likely the last time we will go to a...
