After travel around the city all day, my friend and I wanted to have Japanese food, so we chose Enzo Sushi to be our spot to eat. They have vegetarian option, so we were happy about it. Fish was good as regular standard. Wine was okay. Service was fine even not perfect, but we can communicate in English. Time, we got there weren't busy at all but after that table fill up so quick, seems like a lot of Non-Asian loves to experience different kind of food honestly, we just feel so so not impressive but still appreciated at least we have sushi place to eat in the middle of Quebec City.

Foodies look elsewhere. Fresh fish but way too many fried choices on the menu. Pushy server tried to convince us to order the $50 per person multi-course meal that “everyone else gets.” (We did not.) Sushi beautifully presented but salmon teriyaki looked sad. Noisy patrons (and poor acoustics) destroy any chance for a relaxing dinner.

I visited years ago and had an amazing experience — perhaps one of the best in a sushi restaurant, it was chic and over my expectations. However, I recently visited again and I had a totally different experience. First the waiter was definitely not interested in serving us that evening. He even went as far as suggesting we don’t take sushis since according to him, it would be too long — I mean hello, we’re in a sushi restaurant... More over, we didn’t even receive the sushis we ordered anyways despite the waiter’s recommendation to don’t order sushis. All the sushis tasted bland and the same and didn’t really have an edge to it. Oh and can we talk about the food court chopsticks? Cheap wooden chopsticks that you tear apart don’t really match that 100$ bill for a...

I was visiting Quebec City for a few days, and wanted to get sushi for dinner. I looked up availability for the evening, and there were tables available for 8:30, 8:45, and 9:00 pm (restaurant closes at 10). I ended up not booking, assuming there is probably space. We walked all the way from our hotel there, and when we got there at exactly 8:46, the hostess refused to let us dine, saying that they won’t wait a whole hour to dine us if there are not that many people in (there were still 2 tables with several people eating there). Very disappointing and poor customer service. Since when is it okay to turn down customers an hour and 15 minutes prior to...

Maybe this is routine in Quebec City sushi places (hope not), but sushi rice was so packed together with vinegar (under fish) that soy sauce was not absorbed at all. More concerning, was it seemed sushi rice was hot which made the sushi fish warm -- disconcerting! Waiter mentioned that no staff was actually Japanese (maybe a cause for the problems). Ordered Ebi tempura but only got vegetables until kitchen realized foul-up (waiter refused to take responsibility but did arrange for Ebi Shrimp to come out in the end). FWIW, waiter did say that kitchen staff was Vietnamese and Chinese -- so maybe a problem with the very understanding of...
