La Boîte à Pain — Restaurant in Quebec

We didn’t realize at first that we needed to order the pizza in a separate room rather than at the cashier. We waited for about 30 minutes before figuring it out. What really impressed us was that the staff immediately took responsibility and said it was their mistake — which is rare and very appreciated! They even offered us a free frozen pizza, but we kindly declined.

Later, when we decided to get dessert, they didn’t charge us. I haven’t experienced such unique and generous service in a long time. I want to say a big thank you. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was truly outstanding.

Pizza and bread are very good (pizza are probably the best in town) but surely not a fair price. Awfully expensive (over 10$ for a very small pizza? over 15$ for a "big" pizza which would be too small for a "good eater", is this a fair price??). Is it fair to pay almost 5$ a good bread? As usual in Quebec, fair or good quality is a ripoff. And guess what, pricey and rude people ... If I find the same quality not too far away surely I will never go to "la franchise La Boite a...

Honestly super delicious and I wasn’t disappointed whatsoever, the staff are super kind and even though I had to wait a while, they made up for it by giving me good service afterwards. The atmosphere of this place is also very cozy and warming. Perfect for those fall days when you just want some coffee and dessert. Tried their delicious pastry with blueberry (don’t remember the name) and I ate it so quick I forgot to snap a pic haha. All in all, I highly recommend...
