Fast lunch, Best Smoked Meat in town!

Very good experience before we leave:)

We went here for lunch before our flight. So we decided to have something quick. Instead of going to subway to get a ugly sandwich, we found Phil!

We went there just wanna get a try, because sandwich is hard to mess it up! However; their sandwich is super good. And they served food very quick!

Good service too. They don't have any English menus. But the waiter is very happy to inform us about their menus and the ingredient of their sandwich! And she makes sure we order the sandwich from the menu that we really wanna try. We re very appreciated her and her recommendation of the sandwich choice!

Big position size! I don't think I can finish it all before I have a bite of it. It tastes super good! Much more better than the famous Cornbeef in New York City. Their smoked meat is not greasy and salty that makes me enjoy a lot! Their side salad is very good...

This was our first meal in Quebec City. We were close to our hotel, and a little ways from old Quebec, so the language barrier was a bit of a problem for us. Our waitress seemed to speak enough english to help us out, but didn't seem to care a whole hell of a lot. The only thing that helped us order was Google translate. That said, the food was good. I had DEMI SOUS-MARIN SMOKED MEAT ET FRITES which is basically a smoked meat sub with fries. I substitutes poutine. The sandwhich was REALLY good. Great food and I really appreciated that they got food for the kids on the table quickly before even the orders for the adults were in. This made a really big difference towards a calm meal.

We had the Solo sandwich (fatty) and the Smoked meat salad (lean). I usually get fatty because the lean tends to be too dry but I'm this case I would have been perfectly happy with the lean meat as well. We also got the tarte sucre and the gateau fromage. I personally think the tarte au sucre was the best ( but the cheesecake was good too).
