Saint-Roch Catholic Church — Attraction in Quebec

Google’s hours are not correct. I stayed 2 blocks from here and I tried to enter many times, but always closed. Finally I found out they have one mass a week, which is Sunday at 11 AM. They open it at 10. As far as I know, that’s the only time the church is open. There are homeless people all around the church, and they curse you in French, so be aware. If you’re with children I might not recommend this area. Inside, the church has been surprisingly well-maintained for a church that has little activity. Totally worth a visit if you can get inside. Went this morning while visiting the neighborhood. The church itself is so so beautiful. However, as soon as I went in, a weird man was rolling a marijuana joint while sitting in one of the benches. He disappeared a few minutes later. Then a different man was at the door, he asked for money. There was no one else in the church. I got really scared and decided to leave right away.
