Smoked Platter for 4/ Brisket, Sliced Beef, Smoked Chicken, Pulled Pork, Sausages serviced with all the sides like fries, mash, packed potato, Slaw and beans. I have to tell you all about one of my favorite a smokedhouses in and around mtl. @robbiessmokehouse has been serving up some of the best smoked brisket for years now and located in Kahnawake it's a must visite! The atmosphere on a busy Thursday, Friday or Saturday night is electric. The Smokey smells, the loud music and screens for every sporting event makes it a go to of mine to watch any game or match. The platter say good for 4 but really you can feed 5-6 people with this thing the portions are really good. The brisket is super tender and melt in your mouth. Even the chicken is juicy. Ribs are more on the bite mark then fall apart side which is good because I love that. Still tender and delicious, tangy yet savoury. If your looking for a good spot for a bbq craving these guys are it man. There poutine is fire, the mac and Cheese is nice and saucy and I have to say I almost always end up getting a burger to share with someone on top of wtv else I get they are so good! Check them out, it's worth the visit, and remember, no tax 🤩 best ever hahha!

Disappointed 😞 Heard about this place when it came up on my social media feed. Was planning on coming to Montreal so I knew I had to check it out cus I love bbq meats 😅 Decided to order the $60 bbq platter. Receive it and meat is all room temperature 🤔 Send it back and it comes back warmed up but notice couple items missing 🧐 Ask the waitress 'isn't the platter supposed to come with a chicken breast and sausages?' . Answer, sorry we were out so they gave you fried chicken instead. So $60 platter buy minus the chicken breast and sausages but I get a fried chicken thigh instead? Sorry but you should have told me it wasn't available. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED 😞 And no offer to make it right. I pay the bill and leave 18% tip though I shouldn't have and leave knowing I will not recommend this place to my friends who will be visiting Montreal in August . Just so you know this review isn't bs, here's a picture of the $60 platter. Where are the sausages? Where's the chicken breast 😕

I was very excited to visit this place given that most reviews are positive. Unfortunately I won’t be returning. I did not get the experience I had hoped for. Reservation was for 8pm Saturday, May 17th. We were only seated at 9pm. Brutal. The place was over packed… they took on way too many clients that night. Service at the bar dwindled as the bartender “thought we were all good while we wait for our table”… kinda lame. We received free appetizers as compensation. Nachos, beets and Korean pork. Pretty good. The manager kept offering us wine when we rejected it. Could I have had it to go? Probably not lol The waiters are not too quick but they were kind. I ordered Mac and cheese with steak. I received PENNE and a corner piece of a steak. Lol… They don’t bring water to the table you need to ask and the water tasted “milky” not refreshing. With my experience I will not return, sorry Robbie’s.

My family brought me to Robbie's for a celebration dinner however the food was horrendous and warranting the one star. We started with the bacon wrapped onion rings which came out within seconds of placing our order, pooling in grease, had very little onion and lots of breading, and was cold and soggy in the middle. The waitress offered to reheat the remaining food and we watched the kitchen staff dunk them back into the deep frier and return the food in mere minutes (lukewarm). Our main course included steaks and the sausage and mash. Our steaks (including the 40oz tomahawk) were overcooked (we requested medium rare) which is very disappointing given the prices of the steaks (the tomahawk being $125). The vegetables were the only desirable food presented as they were seasoned well and cooked until tender. The sausage and mash had an odd flavour and despite leaving 3 of the 4 sausage halves served, my grandmother ended up with an upset, sour stomach for the rest of the evening. Despite this, we decided dessert would be a nice way to end a not-so-favourable experience. The waitress recommended the molten lava cake which we ordered, however it was served to us cold and still frozen in the middle. We confirmed with the waitress that it was supposed to be a MOLTEN lava cake and she offered to have it sent back and fresh dessert sent to us. We received a new batch of warm (still not molten) cakes. They were favourable and not too sweet however we watched the kitchen staff reheat these premade cakes in the microwave. There is nothing wrong with microwaved food however if patrons are paying an exorbitant amount (our bill ended up to be $350), I would expect food to be prepared in a more skillful way or at least the cakes reheated in an oven and the silly bacon wrapped onion rings made fresh to order to prevent them from being soggy and cold and the steaks cooked to the temperature requested. This dinner was very disappointing and not at all worth more than a $150 despite the $350 paid. To recap, the bacon wrapped onions rings are not what one would expect and were an absolutely disgusting invention. The steaks were plain and overcooked. The dessert was alright but took some time to get to that point. The price was a complete rip off. (Food ordered: 2 of the bacon wrapped onion rings, 1 40oz tomahawk special, 2 of the rib steaks, 1 sausage and mash dinner, 3 molten lava cakes, 2 glasses of Pepsi, 1 bottle of house chianti = $350 disappointment) (also I'm just remembering the tomahawk steak dish was offered with a spicy mayo which we never received but were charged $3.50 for which we didn't catch until later unfortunately)

Finally, the service was okay. The waitress and other staff were kind and inviting but often forgot about things we requested like napkins and drinks and did not check in very often. But other than that, she was understanding of the quality of the food and our complaints and was solutions oriented. Atmosphere gets a 3 because it was also alright. It's a steakhouse so we didn't expect a hoity-toity atmosphere but the music was a tad loud and we were sat near the service station and kitchen which usually isn't a problem but for some reason the dish collection station was very loud from the staff throwing the plates into the bin. Again, not usually a problem but if it's going to be within 5 feet of a table, it would be greatly appreciated if plates were placed nicely so the sound isn't too jarring and distracting to diners. Like I'm not kidding. Plates being THROWN into the bin. Also heard a glass break here and there so it just shows the care given towards the dishware.

Anyway....

Only way to describe Robbie’s Steakhouse is buy saying that it is mod st definition of Culinary Masterpiece in Every Bite!!!

There are restaurants that serve great food, and then there are restaurants that craft an experience—Robbie’s Steakhouse effortlessly achieves the latter. From the moment you walk through its doors, there is an undeniable energy: the hum of delighted diners, the clink of fine glassware, and the scent of expertly prepared dishes filling the air.

Yet, what truly elevates Robbie’s from exceptional to extraordinary is its people. On this particular evening, we had the absolute pleasure of being served by Carmen, a consummate professional with an unwavering dedication to her craft. It is rare to encounter someone who balances grace, efficiency, and warmth so seamlessly, but Carmen did just that—making us feel valued, attended to, and genuinely welcomed.

Despite the restaurant being packed, the atmosphere remained effortlessly inviting. The synergy between the staff was a sight to behold, with the manager stepping in not as an overseer but as a guiding force, ensuring that every guest felt the touch of hospitality at its finest.

And then, of course, there was the food. I opted for the Chicken and Fried Pickles, a combination that perfectly balanced crispy indulgence with savory delight. Each bite was rich with flavor, the pickles providing a satisfying tangy crunch against the tender, expertly cooked chicken. Meanwhile, my friend chose the Amour Classic Burger and Fries, a masterpiece in its own right. The burger, bursting with bold flavors and perfectly grilled, was paired with golden, crispy fries—simple, yet executed flawlessly.

Robbie’s has long mastered the art of culinary excellence, and this visit was no exception. Every dish was a testament to their commitment to quality and craftsmanship—it was not merely a meal, but an indulgence, one that lingers on the palate long after the last bite.

Without a doubt, this is not just a steakhouse—it is a sanctuary for those who appreciate the finer things in life. A return visit is inevitable, and if luck is on our side, Carmen will once again guide us through an unforgettable evening. Thank you once again to the wonderful...

Very disappointed in our visit to Robbies Smokehouse for New Years Day Brunch. The brunch was advertised as 10am to 3pm .. we showed up on time for our 1:30pm reservations. On the reservations we asked that if possible, a quiet table with not too much foot traffic around it due to health challenges. They placed us in the busiest part of the restaurant with numerous large groups of people around us yelling, constantly arguing and moving around etc, even though the other side of the restaurant was virtually empty. They had already closed the omelette station and some other food areas, they were out of bbq ribs, and other items, the scrambled eggs were cold, the French toast was blah and I couldn't make or order regular toast as they already taken the toaster away and the kitchen refused to make toast or even an omelette. We were told by our server that it was busy earlier but many people left around 12,:30 and it didn't get busy again so they were instructed to start closing somethings down without even caring about reservations or others coming in. Didnt even make a backup plan to have the kitchen make omeletes if requested as the omelette station was advertised as part of the experience. . We had heard many good things about this restaurant and were very excited to attend, we even took an Uber from NDG so we didn't have to deal with driving and to just relax and enjoy the outting. We would not recommend this establishment for brunch, we cant speak about any other time as this was our only time there. We will say that our server was excellent. It was not her fault the owners/managers didn't keep the times advertised for a brunch and she received a nice tip for working New Years Day. One observation is .. this is definitely NOT a place for a quiet relaxing brunch, or any meal as it seems like it is ALWAYS noisy no matter when you attend. I am also not expecting a reply as I see management/owners don't reply to reviews, good or bad. As a now retired Master Chef, and part of the World Master Chefs Society, it goes to show the establishment doesnt care what you have to say and that is...
