barBURRITO — Restaurant in Red Deer

This review is of today Aug 9/23. Owner please check your camera. I went in to the store 8.47pm. Waited 4 min in the store until someone come help me. Two of your employee busy in talking with each other in the back. The guy started making burrito bowl and then mid way telling me “There’s no salsa” “No Guacamole” then added a cup of premixed salsa and then told me extra “$1” for other salsa because they don’t have regular one. They even turned off their open sign at 8.53pm. If you are running out of food just straight up and say no to your customer instead of telling them mid way. If I am paying for my food I expect to have good service and the toppings I need...

Not good. I have tried this 2 times, giving it a second chance to see if it was just a bad run , but both times were not good.

The burrito bowls were cold, I'm not sure if that's how they are supposed to be, but everything in it is cold, the rice is cold the meat was cold. I prefer my bowls to be warm with the toppings being the fresh cool toppings they are supposed to be.

The chicken they use had a lot of gristle and not great parts in it when comparing to other competitors.

This is a restaurant that I can safely and easily say that I have ordered from more times than ANY OTHER place in Red Deer. Their veggie crumble burritos have become a food group. Their ingredients are ALWAYS fresh, quality, and huge generous portions. You definitely get what you pay for, and the staff is always so friendly and willing to help in any way to accommodate you to make your meal and barBURRITO experience exceptional EVERY TIME.
