I'm always delighted whenever I come across the opportunity to leave a five star review, and in Denny's case I can claim this one is truly well deserved. Don't let the large amounts of fellow diner-goers intimidate you, they're there for a reason, and the staff and facilities are very well equipped to handle such large numbers. Though I've been here twice and only tried about four menu items it can be said that despite acting as a franchise both their brunch and dinner items are comparable to that of a prestigious privately owned diner if not superior, instating itself as one of my destinations of choice should I find myself in Red Deer and either peckish or famished. They have a very well accommodating menu for all tastes and all hours of the day, and after sharing meals with both family and friends I couldn't find a single article I didn't greatly enjoy. No wonder the place is almost always packed. Again, their busy business isn't an obstruction to the diner, nor a burden to the dining process, as the Denny's staff and facilities are evidently well equipped to their audience; they deserve every hungry patron that walks in. In spite of any number of mouths, drinks are always topped up, consideration is taken into every customer, let alone every order, the food is always warm, and seemingly no matter how busy it gets there's always a table waiting for you. To add to Denny's inviting nature is their all-star staff, one in particular by the name of Terri made our experience especially enjoyable. She did more than bring food to the table; where Terri strode, smiles and a sense of belonging seemed to follow, likely at fault of her well placed recommendations, acute abilities to listen and notate customer preference, and unmatched prowess in prioritization and time management as a waitress, or as I would put it, a masterful maître d'. I'm not saying Denny's would be nothing without her, but this place is lucky to have such a skilled and passionate true diner artisan. Denny's is more than just a diner, it's a checkpoint, or roost, for those not just weary in the gut, but in the soul. I would recommend anyone eat at Denny's, but not without a warning, you may never enjoy eating anywhere else once you do....

Read moreI had gone in around 2 AM with 2 of my friends and a group of 3 roughly 20 year Olds came in hammered off their rockers while we waited for the server to reach our table one of the females in the group had flashed her breasts, to say the least I was appalled. I have had years in customer service and restaurant experience including owning my own restaurant therefore my first reaction was to call the manager over and make him aware of the situation, his response had me taken back. He had told me "it's okay she's just drunk you know how women are" which was disgusting how sexist and gross it was he said that but to top it off he said "I can't do anything anyways, she's a regular customer and she's just drunk she's not usually like that" I was disappointed and grossed out on how that even works so i had called the cops with no help because they cant do anything about it if the manager doesnt care . We then got our food and of course there was a chunk in my gravy of gosh knows what. When leaving to pay my bills he tried to justify his actions when I told him he should have dealt with it differently and cared more about his establishments image he screamed in my face and banned me from the building. Moral of the story it is a horrible establishment and to the woman seeing as how you "show them to your boyfriend everywhere" your breasts are far from as nice as you think and I would be embarrassed to show them anywhere period and to the manager you are a horrible human being and I hope your boss reads this and you lose your job for making the company look so horrible and I hope you never work in any restaurant or customer...
