On our way back from Edmonton to Calgary, we usually stop by red deer for dinner. I insisted my friends to go Indian Kitchen as I had been there before & was praising the food quality n taste. We called the location an hour before to inform we are gonna be there. Reached there 9.20 (location closes at 10) STRANGELY, the guy on the desk told us (in exact words) " we cant take you we are tired" I was like fine, why didn't you tell us on the call ? And why is the OPEN sign still on. HE wasted our time making us drive to their location just to say no !!!! By this time everything was closed. (While we see they ask another couple for their order!!!!!!) He was so arrogant. Finally he told us OK GO SIT (rude tone) He put a condition "You will have to order all at once" We agreed. Other guys comes in to serve water & said I cnt call the 1st guy as he is busy serving other customer. He was like "COME ON WHATS UR ORDER" with a very rude tone n expression. This is when we lost our minds. He said we had 45 people for the party so whats ur order come on! And for every dish He said NO WE DONT HAVE THAT !!!!!!!!
While the other couple was still ordering stuff. We just left saying we will have to complain to your manager. Suddenly, the guy saying he is the Manager, Sanjay came out. He requested us to be seated & said sorry for the other 2 guys. He served us while the other 2 were still giving tantrums and making faces !
Disastrous experience ever. We do work in customer service as well and stay up late to resolve all the customer requirements. These guys needs to learn what customer service means when you know you are dealing with repeat customer.
I dont know how seriously the management is gonna take this review. Personally, I always call my customers back and try to compensate the hassle they had and make sure this is...
Read moreThe staff consistently treats customers rudely and provides extremely poor service. Extremely disappointed; the wait time is long as well. Whenever you ask something to them, always make really bad facial expressions, that makes the customer feel really disgraced.
Reply: Before coming to the restaurant we called to reserve the table and they said that our dine in close at 9:20 if you come before, then we can serve you. We got there at 9:15 ran to the restaurant to get there then we waited to give our order. The food was veryyy late if the last order was 9:50 at least bring the food before that so that we can at-least place our next order. The food comes at table at 10:00 pm and we left the restaurant with a bay experience by 10:25 pm. Still customer’s fault. So A) your staff told us dine in close at 9:20 and you are saying 9:30 B) are you saying that if your costumers arrive at 9:15 and order you wont be able to give good service ? C) this is our first experience with you guys being late so i do-not know how your staff is feeling that “ we are always late”. D) the same girl who disrespected us from the beginning, did not receive us with smile, giving attitude while we order, had received tip many times so idk if this had happened before we would have reviewed you guys long before. E) we came in with someone’s family who came from India hoping to get some good food with good service so now was it our fault? You should have said No to us when we called about dine in as you knew food was gonna take long this or that. So check the cameras or whatever but we got there 15 minutes before you close your dine in and rest is again your service which is late food, and loads of...
Read moreMy recent dining experience at Indian Kitchen Bar and Grill in Red Deer was nothing short of exceptional. The customer service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. The owner, in particular, was super friendly, welcoming, and patient, qualities that truly enhance the overall dining experience.
The food was an absolute delight. We ordered the Palak Paneer and Shrimp Curry, accompanied by a side of rice and cheese naan. Each dish was well-seasoned, authentic, and tantalizingly tasty. My daughter, who is selective with her food, was also thrilled with the offerings.
The dishes reminded us of the Indian restaurants we frequented in Toronto, offering a nostalgic touch to our meal. What's more, the food was served promptly, and the owner checked in regularly to ensure we were satisfied with our meal, a gesture that showed their commitment to excellent customer service.
In a growing city like Red Deer, I would highly recommend Indian Kitchen Bar and Grill to my local neighbors, as well as tourists visiting our city. Their commitment to quality food and customer satisfaction is exemplary. It's a 5-star experience you wouldn't want to miss!
As a side-note, in also ordered a blue lagoon and two other sodas , which contributed to the cost of the bill. It’s a fairly priced restaurant especially with the quality...
