About 6 weeks ago I ordered an 18-piece bucket with 5 large sides. When I got home I realized that they had forgot the gravy and fries. Looking at the other reviews and speaking with friends this is nothing new for the store. I called and spoke to the manager who said he would make a note and next time I was in he would give me the gravy and fries that I had purchased. Fast forward to today, I went back and ordered 18-piece bucket and a large popcorn chicken. Guessing over $50+ worth of chicken. I then asked for my gravy and fries but they couldn’t find any information about the in store credit. The manger, Alma refused to honor my request and after I became upset she started negotiating with me! “OK, I will give you medium fries and a small gravy”, I told her that was unacceptable so she abruptly changed it to small fries and a medium gravy! After much arguing with Alma the store manager made it perfectly clear that there was no way she was going to give me my large fries and large gravy. She would rather lose a customer for life over and handful of fries and a couple more ounces of gravy. In what customer service and business world does this make any sense?!? So, I left and went over to Mary Browns directly across the street. I had never tried Mary Browns as I was always a “KFC” guy, but I am glad I did! Chicken was fresh and delicious and the customer service was outstanding. So I you are reading this review my advice is skip KFC and go across the street to Mary Browns! Read moreMy experience the last few times I've got here haven't been good recently I called the location and inquiried about what time they were open til and was told 10pm for that night but nothing else. I get there and as I walk in the girl at the counter who was serving a man that they were closed and I said but I called 25 mind ago and you said you were open til 10pm she said well you can go through drive thru and I was very surprised she wouldn't serve me there or tell me on the phone that the irestaurant was closing at 9pm but open til 10pm on drive thru. In my experience in years of customer service I never would turn away a customer especially since they hadn't even locked the doors. Then I had to wait 15mins for the meal when I got it the chicken was soggy and greaser than normal. My family and I spent most of the night in the bathroom. If your open til 10pm then be open I don't see the point of going to only drive thru for an hour. While I was sitting in the lot I saw three cars pull in go to the front door and leave rather than try the drive thru. Read moreCame last night around 8:55pm and store will be closed at 10pm and tried to order a 12pcs chicken. Guy from the drive thru stated that it will be a 25 minutes wait for the chicken and i said that it’s fine and i’m willing to wait for the chicken. Guy offered me a 12pcs chicken tenders for the same price when i refused to take the chicken tenders i told the staff from the drive thru that i want a chicken with bone in and not the chicken tenders. Drive thru staff stated to me 3x “Are you sure you want to wait for 25 minutes for the chicken! With upset accent” this is very unprofessional i worked at kfc too as a store manager and i know how frustrating it is to cook another batch of chicken but store should always have at least 12pcs of chicken to serve it’s still an hour away before closing. I hope this review get in to managements attention.
Take note i’m not looking for a free meal or whatsoever. i just want this kind if behaviour and unprofessionalism of staffs to stop. To the staffs last night 03/06/2025 @0855h if you’re not happy with your job maybe you’re in the wrong career or business.
