Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Red Deer

tonight was literally one of the worst experiences ive ever had. disgusting establishment, felt very dirty. there was only one girl working, and another girl “making online orders”, literally the line up was close to the door, a girl walked in, just stared, and walked out. the girl serving us though, was the most slow moving person ive ever seen, like she did not care at all nor did she listen. 2 men were infront of me ordering burritos with no meat… so they wanted veggies & extra because they dont eat meat.. they said it loud and clear too.. anyways, she asks them “protein?” and the guy is just stunned and goes “none. thats why i said i would’ve liked a bit more veggies” and she goes “oh” something else i couldn’t hear, but doesn’t give him any and he’s just done at this point and wants to move on. the man infront of me wanted steak.. was told out of steak.. im not sure how that works but i find that odd? but then you were also out of cilantro, oh also chicken, and then it took another 5 minutes to come back out with the chicken… i get to ordering mine, im mad at this point, we waited 15-20 minutes at this point. im getting to the point and telling her loud and clear what i want, i had 2 burritos for my kids, she asked if they wanted cheese, i asked them loud and clear and they both shook their heads saying “no” i said “no cheese please” again loud and clear, and she starts throwing cheese on🤣 i notice quickly and she was about to throw it on the 2nd burrito and im like !?!?!? no?????? no cheese i said????? im so confused on how that miscommunication could happen, i asked my daughter if thats fine and she said sure, so whatever ok brush it off, but also come on, because it wasn’t just me at this point and thankfully this didn’t involve food sensitivity. and this is just my opinion for good customer service, and just maybe not being so snobbish about it, but i ordered 2 small burritos, at this point i just noticed there was a poster on the window beside the door, and i could barely read it as my eyes aren’t the greatest, anyways im reading the big font but couldn’t see little print (if there was any?? i didn’t check when i left as i was furious at this point) so i assume any size? i go to pay and say “oh isn’t it buy one get one free?” and she goes “no only regular size” and i laugh and go “you couldn’t of said anything?” like why not offer. if today is “customer appreciation” day, this location is terrible at showing it, not even a smile to the customers, just blank stares. again, in my opinion she could’ve offered “if you upsize to regular its buy one get one free” or anything along the lines? i just had a long day at calgary zoo with my kids, drove early morning, walked for hours, drove home, got to mucho at 6:20pm, im a tired parent with my 2 kids, im sorry i didn’t notice the poster as i walked in as i was ready to go home and get us fed, i noticed after and could not see anything about only them being regular, but telling me “you can read it on the poster” and points to the window? really? extremely ignorant. this place has been terrible in all aspects in the past several months, and the bowl portions have gone down big time. i try to give it a try once in awhile as my kids love it, but clearly i have bad luck. the food quality was good, i cant complain about the taste, but that dry chunky queso cheese (which none of us get, the lid was open) that was very...

Just ate at this location and couldn’t be less satisfied. I’ve never left a Google review before even with some poor experiences, but this experience deserved one.

Ordered a veggie burrito bowl while my boyfriend ordered the same but in burrito form. His burrito was massive and full of veggies, mine on the other hand barely covered the bottom of the bowl. My boyfriend than kind of laughed and asked if I wanted more rice or something because there was nothing in my bowl (in hopes that the guy would get the point and put more in there.) I asked if I could have more rice and he looked at me and sighed and put a small scoop in. Come to pay and he charged me for extra rice. Not impressed. Sadly, I was too Canadian to put up a fuss so I’m leaving a passive aggressive Google review, but I want to let all the burrito bowlers out there know that they shouldn’t go to this location because you’ll only be left with empty...

I order from there store all of the time and have no problems and the food is usually great, this time however the worst happened..... I was sick with some sort of stomach flue from the hour that I ate there food, 2 days later and my stomach still feels like needles are inside me. very dissatisfied, obviously somebody didn't wash there hands or was sick while working very disappointing. I left messages with head office and at the store, nobody took the time to call and rectify the issue with me. What a disgusting organization I will never spend money there again and I will not be recommending this store to anybody. I have half a mind to phone h&s on this store and have it investigated.
