August 2025- I am writing to commend Wanda for her exceptional patience and positive attitude toward all customers, particularly during a challenging drive-thru situation in August 2025 at your Red Deer, Alberta location. During our visit, Wanda demonstrated remarkable consideration and composure while assisting us with our order to accommodate a dairy allergy. Unfortunately, an impatient customer behind us began honking and using profanity, which created significant commotion and pressure, exacerbated by the busy conditions. This led to a mix-up with a couple of order items. In a commendable executive decision, Wanda chose to remake the order at no charge, thereby alleviating the tension and ensuring we received exactly what we needed. This was not due to any error on her part but rather the high volume and disruptive behavior from other customers. Throughout the incident, Wanda remained calm, collected, and professional, transforming a potentially frustrating experience into a positive and memorable oneāespecially in the face of the "Karens" who were making the day difficult for everyone. When placing my order, the barista, Kaye, appeared to have difficulty understanding me, which I was patient with. However, when I politely asked her to confirm the order to ensure accuracy, she seemed visibly frustrated and responded rudely. By the time I got to the window, she refused to speak or acknowledge me at all.
