A&W Canada — Restaurant in Regina

At 12:14 noon at 115 Victoria avenue A W. Ordered kids meal buddy burger. Burger was fresh but FRIES TASTED OLD AND NASTY. I made a u-turn back to the drive-thru and they took the OLD FRIES AND REFRIED IT AND SERVED BACK TO ME. Upset, I called to speak to manager . Someone picked the phone and asked why I wanted to know who the manager was? I asked him to let me speak to manager direct. He was upset and said he was the manager. I explained the situation and he said there's nothing wrong with re-deep frying french fries after custom brings it back for fresh fries. I decided to go inside to talk to the manager thinking the person I spoke with wasn't the manager. DANBEE CAME TO ME ANGRY & SCREAMING AND SAID YES HE'S THE MANAGER AND I SPOKE WITH HIM VIA PHONE. I simply told him that he should never have refried french fries because it unhealthy especially old fries. DANBEE(MANAGER) WAS STILL SCREAMING AND ARGUING IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS THAT WERE PEACEFULLY EATING THEIR FOOD. I DECIDED TO REPORT THIS INCIDENT. ALL HE HAD TO SAY WAS SORRY BUT INSTEAD HE BECAME AGGRESSIVE.. I would like to thank the female staff cashier that gave me fresh fries. She looked empathetic regarding the situation and knew that what the manager did was wrong. Since the MANAGER HIMSELF REFRIED AND HANDED OUT OLD FRIES TO CUSTOMERS WITH NO GUILT. I ended up throwing the food away because I did't feel comfortable eating from individual with bad energy. Thought I'd share...

Update to last review today being Dec 12/21. Service has been quite good from my last review and I always respect when the owner responds to these reviews as it shows they are trying and care. Thank you. You have earned your 5 stars.

Went in with breakfast coupons. Heard it was pretty good. Did the bacon and eggs with toast, hashbrown and a drink. Wanted to see the new building as I worked there for my first job when i was in highschool. Breakfast was quite good other then the Bacon is paper thin. Basted eggs were cooked perfect. Service was not very good. Young girls seemed more interested in talking and giggling then working. One girl in particular. Told us that if we wanted juice with our breakfast instead of coffee that it would be extra. Charged us around $4 more to get some apple juice. Will likely give it a try again in the future as they are rather close to where we live. Or we will simply go to the one by the east home depot. They have been good to us. They gave our order to some random people who ran out of the store with it, and then when they remade our order, all of the breakfast items had ketchup on it and when I asked them why because I didn’t order ketchup, they try to gaslight me and they said all the items come with ketchup. I have never heard of breakfast sandwiches and wraps coming with ketchup on them, all we got was a breakfast wrap and a bacon and egg or breakfast sandwich and they were loaded with ketchup, and they are trying to say that that is normal, I have never heard of someone putting ketchup on those items ever in my life, let alone that being the standard and telling me im in the wrong for not asking them to not put it on when it’s not even...
