Amazing chicken. Moist. Tender. Crispy. Has that really classic perfect chicken bite--springy , yet yielding. My date said that the chicken and waffles was the best he had since being in the US and getting a southern style version. The gravy was seasoned yet not too salty, the syrup was carmelly perfect and not too saccharine. The portion was balanced (which is surprisingly hard to come by with C&W). The only critique he had was that the little baskets they serve it in are really hard to cut on. As much as the diner style basket is cute and nostalgic, it's not really the most functional for that kind of meal. The basket, however, was fine for my chicken sandwich. I got the one with a habenaro sauce which was excellent! But! It did that thing where all the sauce is gorgeous on the front, but then over the course of the sandwhich is didn't really have any. If I got it again I would ask for some sauce on the side to dip, because I understand its hard to keep sauce on something that you literally squish with your hands as you eat it. The chicken was excellent and crispy on my burger as well, and I loved the little pickles that came with it. They helped cut the heavy flavours that come with fried chicken and cheese. The service was very nice. No comments there. The vibe was a little... sad? I know its an old building and they're going for a diner look, but I think the walls could use some new paint or something. Don't need to change out the tables or benches because they are cute, but something should be updated to have it feel a bit less dingey.

Beaks Chicken was a place I haven't been to before! Was a quiet little restaurant on Dewdney Ave in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Honey Habanero Chicken Sandwhich I had was actually very good! I highly recommend it for a purchase. Food was all freshly cooked and not sitting there waiting like you'd see at other fast food places. However, I gave them a 4-star review for food as I also tried regular chicken wings. Unfortunately, those chicken wings were absolutely garbage and would recommend no one ever try them until they take my personal recommendation of adding seasoning to the batter/flour used to make the chicken wings. I also gave them recommendations to deep fry those wings for just a hair longer to add more of a delicious crunch clients are looking for. This location has other options for food and a special food event on Tuesdays! So, to try other items or try that delicious Honey Ham Habanero Chicken Sandwich come order. Adding more knowledge of the restaurant service was absolutely top-notch. Breanne or Brea, for short, was my waitress and my gosh she should be promoted to manager or given a job at a fancy restaurant because, as a waitress she had the tallent of someone trained by Diplomat Steak House in Regina. Thank you, Bre, for your exceptional service and a beautiful welcoming smile!

Our first time at this eatery today. Very busy around 6pm due to takeouts and deliveries. After we placed and paid for our order at the counter, we were informed that there is going to be 50 minutes wait time. We were very hungry so declined to wait and ask for return of money so we can go somewhere else. Lady at the desk went inside the kitchen to check with Chef (maybe) and gave us 20 minutes wait time. We accepted. We ordered 3 pieces of spicy chicken, two chicken sandwiches along with fries and bottles of water. Food quality, taste and portions all were excellent. Fried chicken was the best among the items we ordered. Price I thought was on higher side. Paid $57.50 for all the items mentioned above. Decor and ambiance of Restaurant was average. At first we thought that hall is booked for birthday party and May not be open to customers. I suggest to order ahead of time if you want to dine in, otherwise be prepared to wait minimum 30 minutes. Recommend for sure.

I was so excited to try Beaks for the very first time on the 16th of March, based on the advice of others. I ordered using the Chow Local App. I placed the order just after 3 pm. I noted on the order not to deliver before 5pm. I followed it up with a phone call asking them to deliver shortly after 5 pm suggesting 515 would be great. At 545 pm. I called the restaurant, and the lady said the driver had just picked up the order and it was on the way. I asked what time it was ready and she claimed 5pm. I told her I was getting a less than great product that has been sat under a heat lamp for 40 minutes. What would they restaurant do to make it right? She said she would call me back. When the driver arrived at 550pm, I was ready for him. He said he was at Beaks at 5pm, order wasn't ready, so he delivered another and went back. The chicken wasn't crispy, the fries were cold and the usual gross. The pickles and coleslaw were warm. I have waited plenty of time for them to reach out to offer something, but nothing. I won't order from them again, not because their food was bad, but because of the terrible customer service. Such a...
