Northgate Bakery — Restaurant in Regina

I only been there 2 times. The first time was probably 15 years ago. I went there the first time, To pick up a friend of mine that was working there, Didn,t buy anything. She use to brag all the time how good there stuff was from there, Also my bother in law got bake goods from there all the time years ago. He new the owner and his wife , What own it years ago. Then the stuff was excellent. They were probably the best bakery in Regina, But to cut though the chase here, I decided to go there on September 23/2025. Because there close to where i live. To get some Butter Tarts. I bought 2 packages of them. Had 2 of them the minute i got back home. These Butter Tarts. Were small . And look exactly like the ones .That you can buy at the grocery stores in Regina, And were in a syrafoam tray . The pastery shell look like store bought ones also. Not like the shell would be from a bakery shop. Also the taste of them .Left something to be desired. I got some a couple of days before from a convenance store. A couple of blocks away from my place . On 11 th avenue in the downtown area. There was 12 in the tray, They were $10.00 .Wish i thought was pricey. :Missing Item, Poor Customer Service, and Wasted Money on Delivery.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Northgate Bakery on July 16. I placed an order and paid for delivery, expecting convenience and a complete order.However, when I received my order, the potato puffs were missing. A staff member told me I could pick up my missing food by 7 pm. Mind you, I had already paid for delivery, so I expected a complete order in the first place! When I arrived at 7 pm, the staff said I needed to wait 10 minutes more. This was not only inconvenient but also disrespectful.It's a waste of money and time. Northgate Bakery should take responsibility for their mistakes and make amends when issues arise.

We have used this bakery for years and have ordered at least 30 cakes or more over the years as well as purchasing other items. Went in last weekend to order a cake for my son's birthday. When we walked in we were met by a young lady who just stood there and looked at us. When I asked if we could order a cake for pick up the next day she turned and walked away from us and disappeared. When I asked another lady if we could order a cake for pick up the next day she said they didn't have a decorator in the next day and we said we would take a premade cake if someone just wrote on it we were fine with that and the woman shook her head no.
