Food addicts — Restaurant in Regina

Edit June 19/2023 - The owners reached out directly to me to apologize and make things right. I really appreciate the effort and commitment to improving customers experiences. I’m not sure I’m ready to give the restaurant another chance so soon but I hope the improvements the owner discussed with me will be implemented so other customers have an enjoyable experience in the restaurant. I do commend them on the commitment to make things right and the effort they put into communicating with me about our experience. Original review: I don’t know what the other 5 star reviews are talking about but this was the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. The rice was half cooked, there were four people in our party and each meal came out 5-8 minutes apart, the chicken was cold in my wrap, the presentation was terrible and the plating looked dirty and unprofessional. The food is incredibly over priced for what you get, it took 10 minutes for them to bring us utensils, and the only good part was the milkshake which came out last after half our meal was eaten. We asked for water that never came. If you’re enticed by the sign on the street that says $10 platter, turn around and go to a different restaurant it’s not worth $10. The chicken in the platter meal was so dry and over cooked half the meat was dark brown and there were pieces I couldn’t get my fork into. I recently visited Food addicts and tried their burgers. While the overall experience was great, I couldn't help but notice that they didn't have any spicy options on their menu. As someone who loves a bit of heat in their food, I found this to be a bit disappointing.

I think it would be a great idea for the restaurant to consider adding a spicy flavor to their burger lineup. A spicy burger with jalapenos, hot sauce, or other spicy toppings would be a great addition and would cater to those who enjoy a bit of heat in their food.

Additionally, having both mild and spicy options would offer more variety and appeal to a wider range of customers. It would also give the restaurant a competitive edge, as many burger lovers enjoy trying new and unique flavor combinations.

Overall, while I did enjoy my visit to the restaurant, I do think that adding a spicy burger to their menu would take their offerings to the next level. I look forward to seeing what new flavors they may introduce...

Really amazing food. Probably the most uniquely flavored Butter chicken I've ever had in regina. Whatever recipe they are using for the rice and sauce is distinctly different from other favorites of mine like Da India, Flavors, and Wok Box. They're in an excellent location as there are very few Butter chicken options in this area. I was very pleasantly surprised as this venue has gone through a lot of previous owners. I hope these guys stick around.

I do like my Butter chicken more spicy, but they made up for it with such incredibly seasoned food.

My one issue is that this location has used the same furniture for like the last 3 owners and I feel like it's really bringing down the potential. If the quality of the food is consistent they should really consider improving the furniture and branding. They are really great and I want...
