As per owner of the this eatery Adebanke, this is the first time that food from Nigeria (Africa) is introduced in Saskatchewan.
Located in Victoria Square Mall in Regina SK, this is not a fast food restaurant. Every dish is made to order (except sides) and minimum waiting time is an hour.
Food is 100% authentic, taste nothing like anything in Market right now. It doesn’t mean you will like all the dishes right away because for few dishes you have to develop the taste.
We ordered BBQ goat, Whole Tilapia and spicy beef along with side order of soft chicken and rice.
BBQ Goat meat was not made the way we do in North America. Meat was grilled then cooked in freshly made sauce. Spicy beef had good amount of spice which is not overwhelming spicy. Fried fish was very tasteful.
Paid about $70 for all the items mentioned above.
If you want to try something new and different then this is for you. Must order ahead of time. All menu available online.

Read moreI bought this appalling goat meat and salty rice meal from Laghos. I only got one piece of meat and half was bone. The sauce for the meat was cooked with red oil that wasn't properly fried. So to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I didn't ask for any coleslaw. So I guess the coleslaw was to bribe me into accepting the miserly meat. Her attitude wasn't even nice at all. I wish I could give only zero stars. Bye Felicia 👋.
Your response to this review shows how poor your customer service is. My asking why there's one meat in the meal is rude? Unbelievable! Thank goodness for recognizing me as a regular customer. The rice was salty and my pregnancy cravings have nothing to do with. And is very unfortunate for you to assume that I am a Nigerian because I buy your food. I guess my nationality should make me not to speak up. Your are the duplicitous one for selling one bony meat that much. You have no conscience as if you will buy this...
Read moreCustomer service needs improvement. Both times I went in person, her attitude and body language seemed annoyed when ordering. The food is okay but I’ll remain with cooking naija food at home. Thanks Laghos Kitchenette
EDIT To Response Your reply proves exactly my point of customer service. To say a patrons question is annoying baffles me to say the least. I know how much time and effort is put into making Nigerian food so yes it was a question of curiosity because places like Tim Hortons unfortunately throw their old food away. This was my second and final visit with the first experience being exactly the same. Very uncomfortable to order while trying to make small talk.
Having lived in Nigeria, I am not surprised of the owner’s attitude but rather more surprised she is still in business.
Happy New Month Laghos...
