Lee's Chop Suey East — Restaurant in Regina

Have been here on several occasions over the years for family suppers with traditional chinese dishes ordering off their menus. Their food is tasty and somewhat authentic. The service was good.

In my recent visit, where we were coming to have a buffet meal, we found out that they are no longer serving weekday lunch buffet and their combo dishes were lacking options that we were desiring. The service was poor and they came asked us three times of what we wanted to ordered and the first time they had written down our order on paper. We still did not get everything we ordered and our food was a bit undercooked and/or not great pieces of food to serve to people. Let's say, that I will not be coming here for Canadian Chinese food again. I will find a different place for that option. Traditional Chinese food, I may still come here but it will not be my first choice that...

I don't like to give 5 stars often, but Lee's Chop Suey East deserve it for this occasion. We rolled in from the NE about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon - not many places were serving inside but we called ahead and Lee's was happy to accommodate. We have a favorite dish we love (my wife and I) and has to be really spicy...Crispy noodle Chow Mein, with shrimps and black bean sauce. With pieces of garlic and slices of ginger and slices of Jalapeno or Chinese Red Peppers (making my mouth water just writing this!). The manager came out from the back to discuss and agreed to make this for us - two large servings appeared within minutes! And it was FREAKIN' delicious! Only $35 for the meal with tea - what a bargain too! Thank you Lee's Chop Suey East,...

Used to order south all the time. Tonight ordered from east (now that south has closed) ordered online and recieved an ambiguous message that they may not be able to complete order and to wait for confirmation. Didn't receive confirmation but website just refreshed with no further info. Tried to call restaurant around (10?) times. No answer. Not sure whether order went through or not. Feels completely unprofessional and VERY aggravating. I guess I'll order from somewhere else and see what happens?!
