Leopold's Tavern Regina - North — Restaurant in Regina

Food was amazing. Went here for the first time on my 19th birthday and the service was amazing. We had to wait a bit to be served, but the bartender was busy with other tables. And on top of apologizing personally to us, we got our drinks compt ! I felt very seen and appreciated as a customer here. We got the chips and queso dip, and that was a very nice snack to have alongside the tiki fizz ! Had to come here again recently, and once again food and service was immaculate. Me and my best friend shared the nachos and had some fried pickles too. If your a ranch lover, you need to do yourself a favor and try out the ranch at Leo's! On top of the amazing food and service, we also had a nice interaction with another restaurant patron. So this just shows Leo's attracts amazing staff that go above and beyond, but also attracts customers that contribute to the positive and lively atmosphere. Basically... any other bar will have to do some SERIOUS courting with me to live up to Leo's! P.s I would say this restaurant is also kid friendly. There's alot of items on the wall that kept me entertained as I looked around. On top of that, the servers do check up on costumers often. Me and my best friend were on the patio, meaning the servers would have to enter the room to check on us. And they did so periodically. This made me feel safe and I genuinely feel as though the servers here have the best interest of each...

We stopped by this location last weekend and were attempting to grab some appys and a punch bowl poutine that the kids were super jazzed about. There were about 4 tables when we walked in around 430pm and sat on the patio. The waitress came outside a couple times and did not acknowledge us at all. After about 30 minutes of waiting, I proceeded to the bar to ask if we could just order our food and drinks there as the kids were hungry. I was told no, and that we would have to wait for the server. At this point in time, the server was standing at the POS glaring at me. I went back to the table where we waited another ten minutes before deciding to go elsewhere for food. There were 3 front of house staff working at this time and not a single one of them bothered to come to the table. The only reason we had menus was because we took them off a table where a couple had left. This is not the first time that I have had poor service at this location and find it pretty sad that a local establishment employs staff who treat the patrons as inconveniences. My apology, for giving the service only 2, the server who served us i think is out of focus that time her name is Dorian. She didnt get my order right the first time. However, she took my order again and served it as fast as she can and apologized. Then I ordered a take out item, i asked her the chicken must be breaded and i repeated it because of what happened earlier Itold her its on the side sauce too, she replied that all take out order is on side. So, when i got home my chicken wings were not breaded, and sauce was all over it because the container has no lids. I think the person i the kitchen was responsible for that or whoever assembled it. I was upset ,because i told.my son who will.it the chicken that it was breaded and its so good and yet it wasnt. I dont want to be mean to her , but i hope next time if ever we will come back again, if we still.decided to come back. Her service will be improved. The last time we were there it was great and the server i forgot her name was jolly. So it told my family to eat there instead of barley mill. Last nignt i brought them.
