We got to this location this morning while it wasn’t that busy (two drive through cars and three different customers inside the store). The first thing caught our eyes was the Stats and their ranking board for their fast service on the store monitor. When my husband and I were there, we saw a few staff were chatting and it took them a bit to acknowledge our present (we were the first customers in the store before the other two customers came in shortly after). While waiting for our food, we saw a very not so happy lady came into the store and she told the staff they got her breakfast sandwich wrong. They grabbed another sandwich quickly and gave that to her. They kept her returned sandwich on the counter.
When we got our order, we just went straight to the car without checking it. When we distributed the food to our big kids in the car, we realized there was a breakfast sandwich missing. Went back to the store, the staff quickly grabbed something available from their counter and gave it to us. When we went to the parking lot, we opened it and realized the food was cold, and the wrap was loose. Really, at that point, we suspected that was the sandwich returned from the upset costumer. However we were already late for our road trip, we didn’t bother to go back and ask for a hot sandwich instead. We just decided to drive away and we shared another sandwich with each other.
Then our daughter was waiving a toy from her happy meal breakfast, we now got more upset as they didn’t give her a book as we ordered.
The Stats we saw on the monitor showed that location ranked number 1 for the fast service in all but really, their drive thru amount was half of the other locations and their customer service is TERRIBLE! Ordered were not done right, not greeting customers while it wasn’t busy and didn’t throw the returned food away.
We wish we read all other reviews before pulling in. Never stop by there again. And will make sure our family and friends know to avoid...
Read moreOk so for the number of times I’ve critiqued a McDonalds before it’s time that if I have a good experience to say something about it. The STAFF did it tonight for my visit. Props to them for the service I received at 5:58 today. The staff were on point and helpful. They helped every customer while I was their with a smile and cleaned everything they touched. Followed what I can only assume is procedure and still had time to make sure everyone had what they needed. It’s the little things like handing me my drink as soon as it was made and a straw (So I didn’t have to take three steps and get my own, many other ok locations would have just pointed in the direction where I could get my own) helping customers to the table with there orders for the individual before me. They also clearly had set up for a child’s birthday party and either the parents or the staff had done quit the job and still had the restaurant sending out orders quickly. My fries were as full as you could get a container and the alterations to my order were exactly as requested with out missing a beat. Read moreOK, so we stopped in Revelstoke as it was half way on our drive that day. We originally tried a couple of other places but prices were too much (they were capitalising on the captive audience) so we opted for a quick McDonalds. That was a mistake. To be fair, the food as always, was the same as you would expect from any Mcdonalds. It was as good or bad depending on point of view as it always is. The problem was the carnage that is the car park and the ordering system. The car park is just a mess of people trying to get in and out. Once parked (we should have done drive through but that looked worse) we ordered and grabbed a table outside. There were a number free. Two of the group went in to order. They returned with food 25 minutes later. Hardly fast food. By this point we were a bit fedup and annoyed by the wasps, which were everywhere because the trash had not been cleaned up from the trash bins / areas. All in all, I would 100% avoid if this place looks remotely busy. It could be that they prioritise the drive thru, but the speed for dine-in / take out was atrocious and the place was a mess.
