Review of Tim Hortons at Revelstoke Shell Gas Station
Service and Quality Inconsistency: The Tim Hortons located at the Revelstoke Shell Gas Station has a reputation for inconsistent service and product quality. Customer experiences range from pleasantly quick service to frustratingly long wait times, with many reporting issues like receiving incorrect orders or encountering unavailability of popular items. The overall atmosphere is often described as rushed and disorganized, particularly during busy periods like summer travel seasons.
Staff Experience: Notably, there have been mentions of staff, including a particular Chinese woman working at the cash register, whose interactions with customers have been described as rude or unfriendly. This has contributed to an unpleasant experience for some patrons, detracting from what should be a simple and satisfying stop for coffee or a quick meal.
Customer Feedback: Service Speed: Some visitors have waited up to 20 minutes in line, with only a single till open during peak times, leading to frustration among customers. Order Accuracy: There are frequent complaints about orders being wrong, which can be especially aggravating in a fast-paced environment. Food Quality: The quality of food, particularly items like hash browns and coffee, has received mixed reviews, with some finding the taste and preparation lacking.
General Atmosphere: The location's placement right off the highway means it gets exceptionally busy, which might exacerbate the issues with service. The staff's morale appears to affect the customer experience, with some employees seeming overwhelmed or disinterested in providing good service.
Conclusion: Given these points, this Tim Hortons does not consistently meet the expectations one might have for speed, accuracy, and customer service in a quick-service restaurant. If you're stopping by, prepare for potential inconsistencies in service and product quality, particularly if encountering the staff member noted for her...
Read moreI am a frequent customer of Tim Hortons and have been using their Tim Tells Survey for over a year. Upon relocating to Revelstoke, I encountered a disheartening experience at this particular store, mainly due to the service provided by an employee named Aan.
Aan consistently struggled with printing original receipts and lacked the courtesy to acknowledge her shortcomings. Despite being unfamiliar with Tim Hortons' existing programs, she resorted to providing incorrect information instead of admitting her lack of knowledge. This lack of transparency and honesty greatly hindered the customer experience.
Unlike Engel, another employee at the store, who consistently ensured that receipts included survey codes, Aan failed to deliver the same level of service. When questioned about the absence of survey codes, Aan initially claimed they were random, which was blatantly untrue. Subsequently, she proposed a nonsensical requirement of spending a certain amount to qualify for the survey coupon, contradicting the established policy.
Aan's inability to fulfill basic tasks, coupled with her reluctance to admit fault, reflected poorly on the store's professionalism. Furthermore, the disregard for customer preferences, such as not asking if a receipt or points collection were desired, demonstrated a lack of commitment to providing satisfactory service.
The culmination of these issues occurred when Aan made disparaging remarks and engaged in gossip with other team members about a customer's routine purchase habits. This unprofessional behavior not only created discomfort for the customer but also led to their decision to cease patronizing the store altogether.
Overall, the experience with Aan at Tim Hortons Revelstoke was highly disappointing. It is evident that improvements in employee training and customer service protocols are necessary to ensure a more positive experience...
Read moreFirst time in Canada and my first visit to Tim Hortons and I’m afraid it will be the last time ever going to one. After waiting about 10 mins to actually get served. I Ordered two steak and cheese toasted one with no sauces as my partner has an egg allergy , and one with no tomato or lettuce , the server was an older gentleman with a stutter, he told the female oriental lady who was making the food the order after waiting again for 15 mins the oriental lady said one steak and cheese and one barBQ the older gentlemen said no it should be Two steak and cheese and then the lady said it’s right just served it and flopped it down on the counter for the man to give us. I thought the female was rude and disrespectful to the man . I left and when I got into my car opened my food to find it was chicken with lettuce and tomato totally wrong. I went but into the restaurant and told the man it was wrong the oriental lady said it was right I said no it should be steak and cheese with No lettuce or tomato, she said it comes with lettuce and tomato. I said I would like steak and cheese with no lettuce or tomato I couldn’t believe how hard it was to order a simple request . I asked to speak to the manager and he never came out to speak to me . After about 5 mins I was presented with the correct order and I just left the restaurant in total disgust. I have never had such appalling service in my life Ive seen Tim Hortons advertised and thought I would try it my biggest mistake and ruined what hopefully could have been a great time.
You should be ashamed of the very poor below customer service from your staff a lot of staff training needed just shows the manager doesn’t have standards and the companies reputation...
