A no frills bakery with THE BEST EGG TARTS IN THE CITY
I heard how good they were. But even with that expectation, it exceeded it and blew my mind.
The egg custard was so soft and creamy. And it coats your mouth so nicely.
Even with the more expensive bakeries like lucullus and saint germain, this one by far has the better egg tarts.
The place is in a mall with just a lot of food places including a kibo sushi, dim sum restaurant and a Chinese bbq spot, so parking is readily available.
They sell out quick so you have to be able to time it. 2 out of 3 times that I went, I was able to get the egg tarts. But they always se fresh and they’re always pumping out the egg tarts. And so fresh & delicate you can still see the jiggle in the custard
They only accept cash, so bring some and each egg tart is about $2 or just over, but worth every...

Custard: The egg "custard" was watery, flavorless and nothing like what it should tastes like. You are WAY better off paying $6-7 for a pack of 6 at the T&T or grocery store and get better quality than this.
Price: it increased from 1.50 to 2.15. paying more for subpar quality. Doesn't make sense. They also do not offer packages.
Location: small shop,...
