Terrible customer service. Ordered food through door dash; the restaurant didn’t send an item and called the restaurant to try and get help. Just gave me excuses, lied and said that they don’t have divers even though they say on their website they deliver. Won’t go back. Door dash came through, though, gave double my money back.

It had nothing to do with the food (which was good) and everything to do with how I was treated over the phone. I came to you with a problem, and was told me I had to come and fix it. And yes, it was just one spring roll, thanks for trying to embarrass me, but the fact is you took my money, tried three times to tell me I didn’t order two spring rolls when your restaurant had confirmed the order, and only then when I finally didn’t give in, you offered me the rolls. But you still didn’t offer to refund me or send it, I had to come in. Even if you had just offered, the refund, or just apologised for your mistake it would have been fine. Keep your spring rolls, Door Dash was an excellent service rep for your restaurant. You,...

This was my first time ordering at Bayview Wok. Ordered with Uber eats, received delivery order, verified delivery order, order was mistakenly incorrect, contacted the restaurant minutes to 8pm and spoke to a person, called ended abruptly. I then contacted Uber eats, took pictures etc. to explain the wrongdoings and I was giving a full refund. I was disappointed with the quantity (advertised portion was not honoured by restaurant) and quality of the food, the chicken balls were wet ń soggy and oily, the packaging was not well throughout for the delivery considering the distance to where is was going to, the sweet and sour sauce looks watery not thick in consistency. It’s unfortunate that I was short changed with the portion cause I run out of them and I was not able to taste any. I assumed it tasted fine and that all my guests were satisfied...

If you are Chinese or use to accustomed to eating at Cantonese restaurants you would understand my disappointed when I ordered "滑蛋牛肉飯"(Runny scramble egg beef on rice) takeout and got home to find a fully cooked omelet!?? It tasted bland and flavorless, to the point I couldn't even finish it. It reminded me of hospital food. My husband had stir fried beef with vegetables and that wasn't any better. Even though the lunch specials were only $7, I think I could have done a better job cooking this dish at home. Save your money and go somewhere else.... Lots of better choices in Richmond Hill. Not authentic Cantonese food, very disappointed with my first and last experience of this takeout place. I review a lot of restaurants in Toronto and I have rarely given it a 1 star, I would have given zero stars if possible as the cashier was...

Bayview Wok is a nice find that we stumbled upon while looking for a quick HK bite nearby. They have a terrific $9.50 lunch deal that we took advantage of even on weekend. The staff here was so courteous and welcoming, and recommended the dishes for us, the beef ho-fun and braised eggplant w/ meat & rice. The dishes had a nice wok fire flavour and came in huge portions along with soup. The flavours were slightly bland but touched up with soy sauce. The value was unbeatable in this inflationary time. We were even able to dine in at one of their 3 tables, and received cutlery. We noticed a steady flow of guests pop in mostly for takeout orders. Seems locals know this for affordable takeout.

I ordered the dinner for 2 for pickup. 2 Spring rolls, 1 Stir Fry Beef Broccoli, 1 Spare Ribs and asked for noodles instead of rice and they accommodated no problem. The Stir Fry Beef Broccoli was okay, not enough Beef and the Beef was very fatty and had lots of tendons. Would not get again. The Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs were fatty too and not very flavourful. I guess I was looking for unhealthy chinese food and this was more on the healthy side. Very good for healthy chinese food. The kitchen looked clean and food was ready when I arrived. Good customer service, lady at the front was very nice.
