Finally a great BBT place in Richmond Hill! This tea shop is bright, clean spacious, friendly and the staff are fantastic! The atmosphere is welcoming and the drinks are delicious! I really enjoyed the winter melon drink I ordered. It is refreshing and caffeine free, perfect for when you want a late night drink. I need my beauty sleep! Lol. The signature lite fruit tea is also amazing, with real fruit slices inside. Considering it’s their soft opening period, the staff are pretty fast at making the orders so I didn’t have to wait long. I also tried the waffles in original flavour and chocolate. They are both awesome it’s hard to choose a favourite but I think the original flavour tips the scale just a bit. The waffles are made fresh so you do have to wait 5-10 minutes but the time goes fast. I’ll have to try the green tea flavour next time, and there will definitely be as next time!! Kung Fu tea has always been my go-to place for drinks and every branch I've been to has been so friendly and welcoming. But I honestly don't understand what makes the staff at this location so pissed and unnecessarily rude. Reading others reviews on how friendly the staff is at this location makes me feel like I may be the only one. I usually let these kind of things slide and don't care much about whether someone is smiling or being friendly or not. I've been to this location twice, first time the girl taking orders gave me a pissed off look I let it slide thinking maybe she's having a hard day. Second time again I couldn't figure what did I do to piss her so much. And each time I even tipped generously - for a take out!! I was trying to ignore how badly I was treated again thinking maybe she's having a hard day, but when giving the drink she literally threw the straw on the counter which was beyond rude and that was the tipping point for me. Literally all I did was order a drink like everyone else and pay for my drink. Never...

I absolutely enjoy having my Bubble Tea at Kung Fu and I make an effort to especially visit this location.

The owners are always present in the store and the staff is amazing. They willingly customise even the most non- customizable drinks --even prefixed ones.

Their Boba's are always fresh and super soft,never hard, not even on a single occasion. I have tried their Pearl Cheese Milk Tea with Icecream, Pearl milk tea, Brown Sugar Latte (no caffeine), Fruit teas, Slush, Strawberry, Blueberry, Mango, Peach.. and I have liked all of them.. I would say the 38Milk King is super good and a must try for all tea lovers!

They have a very good app too and gives you good deals. Also the store runs promos which are quite popular.
