I went to this Kelseys location 2 weeks ago and had the most awful experience. My friend and I used to come to this location when we were kids and would enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere while we ate with our families. However, after our last dining experience (and 2 unsatisfactory experience prior) we will never be spending our money at this location. To start off we had a server who had no clue what she was doing or how to serve a table. I'm not sure if it was her first day however, if it was obvious that she was struggling management or a senior server should have supported her as the restaurant was hardly busy. She came back to our table 20min after we placed our order to confirm our orders and finally placed them. She didn't understand the menu and had to consult the manager then came back and told my friend to order an item which she reassured had no extra charge which it then did. She messed up my sons order with an item not even offered on the kids menu. She took such a long time to even come to check on us and confirm things yet there were maybe 3 other tables of guests in the entire restaurant. We had to repeat everything we asked for. We have young kids with us so this extra time spent was frustrating as kids don't last long in restaurants and based on how quiet it was we didn't anticipate it taking 1.5hrs for a simple meal. After we finished she brought the bill (at the start of the meal I explained we would need separate bills and who was on which bill as it would be easier at the end of the meal) and my friend was charged $10 extra for the meals even though the server reassured her that it would not be, the extra charge would have been about $4.50 total not $10 she was charged. Then I got my bill which I was charged for my friends drink she had already paid for then the server went back to fix it and came back 10min later with the bill adding on another of my friends drinks this repeated TWICE more and each time she goes back to fix it takes 10+ minutes, remember we are here waiting through all of this with our young kids. She finally gets it right when my friend realized she was overcharged and spoke directly to the manager to avoid waiting another 10+min for our server to handle it. The manager was very rude to my friend and not understanding at all even though it was obvious she overcharged on the menu price of the item she received. There is no reason for such attitude from a manager!!!! Where are the basic customer service skills? As this was happening our our were very restless and thought we were leaving so our older kids took them to the front waiting area (which was empty) and while we were waiting for 30+ minutes a tall blonde waitress kept coming over and giving our kids horrible dirty looks as If their existence was unacceptable. It made them feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. What a terrible restaurant this has become. Whoever is managing this joint now will surely run it into the ground. This location on High Tech Rd was closed for a long time and finally re-opened 2 weeks ago. It’s newly renovated and the atmosphere is much better than before.
Our sever Ana was excellent. She is engaging, offered suggestions and recommendations, was attentive and made the overall experience sooo much better.
The menu offers a wide array of options so there’s bound to be something for everyone.

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at the restaurant, all thanks to the exceptional service provided by Jennifer, our wonderful waiter. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcomed.
