"I'm not like the other girls" -a cliché as old as time, and RARELY ever accurate.
RARE, because rare implies a chance. an unlikely chance. But nonetheless a glimmer of hope.
1383 16th ave. Unit 1... the McDonalds location that decided it's breaking barriers. ending the stigma. Being the reason this cliché still holds any ounce of value.
I say this because for the first time ever, in my life, as in "In your LIFE have you ever seen anything like that", I did NOT need to ask for ketchup with my fries at McDonalds. Not one, not two, but three ketchup packets were provided to me to compliment my order of fries.
I'm still in shock. Perhaps this McDonald's isn't like the others. I'll be seeing her for a 2nd date sometime soon.
Side note: McDonalds needs to just admit its own ketchup brand will never stand a chance against Heinz. It's time to admit others do things better. Ketchup is the most important condiment at a fast food establishment. Time to show some respect to the condiment, and likewise to your valued customers, and start using the Heinz...
Read moreI work down the street on Granton in RH, I am here sometimes twice a day for the past two years or so, mostly for coffee runs. They hardly ever get your order right, I increased to 3 sugars from 2 just to make sure I get some. For the past two weeks, on 5 occasions I received my coffee black. So if you happen to catch that they miss applying the coupon and you unfortunately just paid, then you deserve to be yelled at and scolded for being a bad customer because you inconvenienced the staff and manager to provide actual "customer service" to process a refund on your card and charge you properly.
Othewrise, hope you enjoy your...
