It was the worst customer service experience of my life. My friend brought over some mapo tofu, noodles, and egg rolls for dinner, and while eating, I felt something sharp in my mouth. When I spit it out and checked, it was a piece of a box cutter blade. I was so shocked that I called the restaurant, and a man who seemed to be the owner offered me credit. Normally, in a situation like this, an apology would come first, and they’d check if the customer was hurt, but instead, he treated me like a troublesome customer asking for a refund. He first offered me half of the meal cost, $30, saying, ‘Thanks for calling to let us know.’ The owner’s attitude was that it was an accident, and they didn’t intend to harm the customer. What kind of insane person would intentionally put a blade in food? So, if it wasn’t intentional, does that mean it’s not their fault? I usually don’t even complain about finding hair in my food, but this was a piece of a blade—what if I had swallowed it? Just thinking about it makes me shudder. I hope no one who reads this ever has to risk their life eating at this place like I did.

The sweet & sour soup’s broth was more like a sauce - did not like it. The rice noodles were delicious except I had requested for onions to be added which was not added. The chicken was average; I found it too salty.

Let me begin by saying the food is actually very good. However, the service (outside of one super great young man) on new year's eve was horrible.

I understand that they were probably swamped with orders that night but telling us our order was going to take 45 minutes when we actually didn't receive it for 2 hours was ridiculous. We put in our order, came back in the prescribed 45 minutes and apparently they hadn't even started it yet.

They looked a bit overwhelmed and no one behind the counter would make eye contact. Several other disgruntled customers also left due to wait time and they were quite vocal about it.

I wish they had just set expectations to say they were unusually busy and that wait times were at least 1.5 hours - in that case, I would have been a lot less agitated.

Only the young man offered apologies and glasses of water for our children who had to wait with us in the restaurant. I understand we could have just canceled our order like some of the other people who got tired of waiting, but we had already waited for over an hour and our kids wanted the food. To go somewhere else and reorder and wait the same amount of time that our order was supposed to be done here seemed a waste of time.

My recommendation? Call ahead and ask if they are busy. Good food but not worth the hassle and wait time and level of...

It's so-so

Service experience here leaves a pretty bad taste in your mouth overall. They're rude on the phone and theyre rude in person, even when you try to be pleasant with them. But then for some reason, I am prompted for a tip on take out? After you've been rude to me?? Hmm

Now the food.. I'll say that MOST of it is pretty decent and has good flavour. The beef and broccoli being the most disappointing dish they have. Lemon chicken is excellent.

Now, when I am placing an order for 5-7 items and it's ready in five mins, this is what makes be uncomfortable. How can they be preparing my food fresh to order if it's done in less than five minutes? Just deep frying the chicken balls alone should be more than that. Which leads me to believe most of the food is precooked and either kept warm or rewarmed. I could be wrong here, as I don't work there and no way for me to know, but something doesn't add up. It makes me uncomfortable about the freshness of the food and having that combined with rude staff (five visits total) I will...
